When I had my vehicle in for maintenance, they drained my front differential and transmission, then put the fluid for both of them in my transmission. I drove home and noticed a howling noise. I went back in and found out what happened. I had no fluid in my differential (and caused who knows how much damage to it), and the transmission fluid and gear oil were in my transmission. They dropped the transmission pan and replaced the filter and fluid. I came in for another service and found out the transmission pan was leaking. So, they re-sealed it. I let my friend take my car to California immediately afterwards and didn't drive it until she got back. When she did, I noticed it got stuck in second gear when it was cold. Turns out, it was a quart and a half low on fluid, from when they replaced the pan. Again, that caused an unknown amount of damage from running low. After that, I went into the dealer for a sunroof replacement and found out that the transmission pan was leaking AGAIN. Not only was it not sealed, but they put the wrong bolts in the pan. So, I have something else with the wrong bolts in it, from wherever they were swapped. The dealer also found an exhaust leak, without any prompting, that I had asked JPD about multiple times and kept being told there was nothing wrong.
They over or under filled my mom's transmission, on a service, and she was stuck in the middle of nowhere in southern Utah. So, she had to pay for a tow and another service.
They misdiagnosed a noise in my dad's van. They said it needed a whole rear differential rebuild. He took it somewhere else and it was just a u joint.
My friend brought his truck in for a noise. He paid them diag. They told him they found the culprit and he spent $1,600. When he left, the noise was still there. After he brought it back in, they found an additional $6,000 worth of work that it "could be", that was totally missed and not mentioned on the first time in.
They put the incorrect fluid in a customer's transmission. When it was brought up to the lead technician, he said not to even call the customer because, "Viscosity doesn't matter. It's just like putting a different weight of oil in." (It absolutely does matter, and you shouldn't ever use the wrong weight of oil.). It was only after the owner called another shop, that recommended they change it out, that the customer was even notified of the mistake, and they changed it to the correct fluid.
This is just a few of the many very serious issues with quality of repairs coming from Jeffrey P Davis Automotive.

We were traveling from Tulsa Oklahoma and blow out a CVC joint on a 4x4 F150 that was was installed 30 days prior. We called and Tyler ordered our parts and put us on the scheduled when we got in town and finished the job that day as we were heading back to Tulsa the next day. Cannot say enough about these guys.. We had grease sprayed all over the under belly of the truck and they even cleaned all that off!!! Which they didn't have too.. Thank you!!!

My name is Jerrett, I took my 2016 Ford Focus ST to Jeffrey P. Davis Automotive for full replacement of shocks and struts. There were some complicating issues with doing my replacements that should have pushed the price higher, but to my surprise the final bill came in under estimate (including an estimate received at another shop)! My car drives great now, all the staff was super friendly, the owner Tyler is generous and professional, it was done on time, done right, and under my initial estimate; pretty much exactly what you hope for in mechanic (but never truly expect)! Thanks guys!

I visited Jeffrey P Davis shortly after moving to Utah almost three years ago. I unfortunately had a rod-knock on my Wrangler’s replaced engine, needing an additional replacement. They were willing to take on the job as well as dealt with the engine manufacturer for the warranty processes. I got rid of the Jeep shortly after but continue to go to them for all of my standard maintenance and oil changes and any additional work if needed.

Tyler has been nothing but professional and done excellent work on my family's cars, with very reasonable prices and honesty. I have complete trust in their work and recommendations, having taken my ten year old cars there for the last three years after asking a friend for a recommendation of a local auto shop. I couldn't be happier with the result.
