I inherited a 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera that my father is no longer able to comfortably get into and out of. My dad lives in Seattle, I live in Denver... road trip!
My wife and I left my dad's place on a recent Monday morning and got into SLC Tuesday evening. While pulling into town, I noticed a less than ideal sound coming from the engine compartment and it sounded like an alternator bearing to me. The next morning, I called around a bit and Morris Bros was willing to squeeze me into their schedule, given the fact I was passing through, and to take a quick look at what was causing the noise.
They were able to diagnose that it was actually a worn distributor bearing and luckily, they knew a guy who lived just out of town who rebuilds engines and he happened to have a used (mint condition) distributor for my car (I think his name was Jeff? Thanks Jeff!). A couple hours later, the wife and I were back on the road and safely made it back to Denver.
Thanks guys for the responsiveness and willingness to help out a passing traveler. And my sincere apologies to anyone whose scheduled maintenance had to be pushed because of Morris Bro's willingness to help me out in a pinch.

I’ve been working out the kinks on a (new to me) 996 turbo with MB and it’s truly been a great experience all around. Work is always top notch, quick turnarounds, always keeping me posted on progress and they stand by the work they do. German cars can be frustrating to maintain but Morris bros make it easy. Car is driving like new, finally!

Very pleasant experience with this shop, Alex was great to talk to at the front desk and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone. They seemed genuine and honest to their work. They provided photos showing why they recommended other work to be done to the vehicle which I thought was great and I’m sure anyone else would appreciate. They were informative and punctual to when they’d estimate the vehicle to be done. Glad to know of another shop that I can fully trust to bring my vehicle into with confidence that good service will be done.

Avoid avoid avoid, shoddy shoddy work everywhere you look.
I just purchased a Porsche cayenne tt that was serviced here, and the owner out of essentially frustration abandoned it due to a cam sensor that was in a perpetual state of failure that could not be diagnosed. I purchased the car with the expectation that it could be a complete stretch chain mechanical totaling and I find instead that the cam sensor pickup was damaged by this shop causing the previous owner to spend thousands of dollars for no reason. Not only did they continue to misdiagnose the car to the point of his frustration and walking away from it, they were not even remotely on the correct path. Furthermore the vacuum pump connector release was damaged and a vacuum regulator was free floating off it's hook, which doesn't exist any long it appears
These cam sensor pickups are easily damaged during a valve cover gasket replacement.
They call themselves Porsche specialist yet they cost the previous owner of this Cayenne nearly $5,000 and then the money he lost on the car due to its low power and perpetual state of Cam sensor failure.
Under absolutely no circumstance should you ever consider this place if you think they can diagnose your car right let alone do a simple job like a valve cover gasket on a Porsche Cayenne. Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid and also take a look at the photos that prove their own damages.
Not only did they damage the running condition of this car and run up a huge diagnosis bill, they also didn't secure the hardware for the side bracket. If you need any more proof of shoddy work, I don't know what else I could show, because this is disgustingly unsatisfactory.
They should absolutely consider refunding the previous owner the bill, while I attempt to deal with the consequences of my purchase and their shoddy cutting corners work. I will consider removing this ad if the previous owner of this car is made right, but until then absolutely unequivocally do not trust this shop
As I have time, I will be following up with a shop per their request, but I cannot get over just how bad they did somebody over.

Awesome shop. They took SUCH GOOD CARE of my 2008 Porsche 911 C4S. A quick call and they took care of my tire swap and oil change. Alex, the gent who took my call, couldn’t have been more helpful when I had so many questions. Prices are fair, quality was great, and the people seem to be genuine car enthusiasts. I’ll be back for any Porsche repairs!

We were stranded with a blown tire in our Audi TT and happened to be near Morris Brothers Motorsports. They were so kind and helped us out finding the correct tire from one of their colleagues. Their service is outstanding and they are truly awesome folks!

Morris Brothers is very thorough with my Mercedes. Much better and more specific than the dealer. They spotted maintenance that needed attention, walked me through specifics, and gave me proper context. They are fantastic!
