I ordered a pair of Dr. Martens fisherman sandals on the Nordstrom website and it came defective. I can’t reorder them because they’re sold out in my size. For $150 shoes, I expect perfection. I called customer service and they wouldn’t do anything about it and wants me to return it to the store which I’m doing right now 03/20 at Fashion Place. I’m writing this review to warn buyers to not buy this pair bc I know they’re going to put it up for sale in store. The back sole on the left shoe isn’t glued all the way on! It’s a size 6 women’s and color is brown grizzly. Nordstrom and Dr. Martens just lost a customer, never buying from yall again.

Arriving at the eleventh hour, frazzled and in dire need of a wardrobe overhaul for work, I stumbled upon Megan amidst the chaos of my day. Frantically, I poured out my laundry list of specific clothing needs, and in that moment, Megan became my saving grace. Her calming presence and attentive ear made me feel like I was the only person in the store. Megan's genuine interest and knack for understanding exactly what I needed went above and beyond any typical shopping experience. Thanks to her, I not only left with a renewed sense of confidence in my attire, but also a genuine eagerness to return and see her again. Megan's ability to turn a simple transaction into a heartfelt connection is truly rare and something to be cherished. Our conversation flowed effortlessly, as if we were old friends catching up. As someone who values authentic connections and exceptional service, this experience was a shining example of what sets a business apart. In a world where complaints often overshadow compliments, I believe it's essential to recognize and celebrate moments of true excellence.Bottom line: Megan is an absolute rockstar. This type of exchange and feeling I'm walking away with is HUGE for any business to know about and replicate. I also believe in sharing what's working and good. 10 out of 10.

Went in today to return a pair of off white shoes that I received as a gift. The man helping me was very kind, but since they were designer he had to go ask for help from a manger. She came over (I don’t recall her name, blonde hair wearing pink shirt, in her mid 50s) to help. She was very rude. She stated that they don’t return designer shoes that have been worn. Although I still have the tags and they are in mint condition. Fine don’t return them, but you could’ve been friendly and educated me on the return policy instead of being so stuck up. I have always had great customer service at Nordstrom, but today I am very disappointed in how I was treated. The man felt bad he even asked her if I could get the sale price of the shoes on a gift card because they are now on sale, but she said no because it’s not within 14 days. Anyways I don’t think I’ll be shopping here for a la while. I’m very dissatisfied.

You have to be pathetically kidding with your new windows purporting being eco friendly. What about your entire store of how much square footage? You think 2 windows will do anything: no. Then to say you are donating those items to Habitat for Humanity when that is probably less than $300 in supplies. Why don't you donate 10% of all your profits, that might do something. I will never shop at this store again!

I bought something online for store pickup because I needed it asap and couldn’t order online to be shipped. I went the next morning to pick it up and they “sold” it and just said sorry first come first serve. Which is so weird considering I bought it late the night before and went first thing to get it. The girl working at the pickup desk was also so rude and unprofessional.

I’m from the east coast however I often come to the Salt Lake area to visit my family. I thought it’d be fun to go shopping and I was really looking forward to visiting this mall especially nordstrom since it’s my favorite store however i was HIGHLY disappointed and left traumatized. As I was walking in everyone seemed nice except for one employee, Cassidy. She kept giving me and my 4 year old dirty looks and my 4 year old was clinging to my leg scared the entire time. I kept reassuring him that everything was okay but he just wanted to leave and go home because he thought this lady might approach him and do god knows what. I asked her what her problem was and she literally just spit on the ground (DISGUSTING) gave me and my child a dirty look and walked away with sass. My jaw DROPPED to the floor, I seriously couldn’t believe what i just witnessed. I immediately left the store with my son (crying hysterically) and went back to my sister in laws. I told her and the rest of our family what happened and made sure to tell them to NEVER visit this nordstrom ever again and to make sure none of their friends visit either because i would never want for them to experience what me and my poor son did. I can’t believe nordstrom would even let this girl in a close proximity of their store let alone WORK THERE. Disgusting.
