Everything was great with the room. No issues, the design and layout were nice and modern. The open shower led to some wet floors but nothing the bath mat couldn't fix. The breakfast downstairs was delicious with plenty of options to fuel us up for the day. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Definitely would want to stay here again!

Very happy with my stay here, the suite was spacious, clean, and well put together. Super hot water for shower. Wifi was solid. Parking was easy and convenient. Their breakfast offering is great too; rotating hot items of eggs and proteins, cereals, bagels, yogurt, and a waffle maker.I found the bed was too hard but that's more a personal preference I think.Staff and housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating.Would definitely visit again!

On 12/5/23, I called to see if there was availability for a room that furnished a full size stove with oven. The lady that answer the phone did not even give her name so I could properly address her. I mentioned that I wanted to book for 13 weeks for work. The lady mentioned those rooms are for long term stay and the rooms are on the corner. I said perfect will there be one available in January, she said no. I said what about February and at the point the lady said she couldn't give me guest information. I told her I was not looking for guest information I needed to know if this feature in a room would be available. I said you said there was not availability for January. The lady said this would require her to look in another system. I asked could I speak with the Manager- she stated she was the manager on duty. I said well Manager you said availability for January and you can't tell me for February, the lady stated I placed words in her mouth and hung up the phone. I called back and someone picked up the phone didn't say anything and immediately placed me on hold. I called the ambassador elite line for assistance and they took down my concern with the manager on duty and gave me a case number. I would never ask for guest information, I know that is private, I happen to be a Leader for Surgical Services for one a healthcare system, so understand privacy is everything. The lady, aka Manager on Duty decided it was okay to treat a potential guest poorly. As a Titanium Ambassador for Life Elite Member, please send this "Manager," to leadership development. The proper response would've been that we will make a note of your request when it comes closer to your check in date and soon as one comes available after you check in we will be able to accommodate you.Thank you,Aliya Jackson, MHA,BSN,CSTExecutive Leader

Overall this hotel had one unfortunate consistency - they were always inconsistent as far as making sure everything that was supposed to be in a room was there. Stocking a room, as itemized on the website, seems basic, and it is, but not here. I stayed at this property over a 5 month span, a week at a time, and each time I came, something was missing! Yes, each time it was something - a Hairdryer, coffee maker, tv remote, even once the basic furniture, a table was missing! Other times a bottle opener, any sharp knives, some cutlery, mixing bowls. A fridge that broke once ( just shut off) a shampoo that fell of the shower wall into the tub in the middle of the night, ( old glue) and tubs and sinks that didnt drain at all. I had to call maintenance or the front desk every stay. In the end, after 5 months, I gave up with the last straw this last stay came with an attitude after I was asking again the basics that were again missing , at least one sharp knife, and the larger bowls, I was told they weren’t in stock! I gave up since a stocked room with necessities in the kitchen is not a favor, we PAY FOR IT. I have lived in these hotels over the years - over 700 nights and highest status level, for work, and as this hotel was close to work so I stuck it out until it got tedious. ill break my loyalty streak and stay elsewhere! If you need a kitchen with the things they are supposed to have, not have to beg, don't stay here. Clean yes, but unstocked with basics you pay for and sometimes you can get a weird attitude if you ask.

Wonderful place to stay the night. The rooms were clean and liked how big and modern the rooms were. Great location if you're visiting Salt Lake or the surrounding area.

Great location, the layout of the room was very fictional and comfortable. I really liked the size of the kitchen and the amount of outlets in the room. The work space is good and the tv swivels. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Could use a refresh, but otherwise up to Marriott standards. Front door is a bit oddly placed on the side of the entrance alcove.

I came here after a disappointing experience at a previous residence inn and cottonwood and Bridget (I think that’s her name) was AMAZING! She gave me the room I wanted, had AC, and was very welcoming. This place got robbed one Sunday after this sketchy guy was walking back and forth back towards the laundry room on the first floor. Very weird situation but I loved this place. Only bad part was a girls rugby team stayed here the last week and cleaned out breakfast every morning by 6:45 am. They even made a mess. Guess the parents are a reflection of the children.. but all around great place! I will be back at the end of November and I will be staying here!

DISAPPOINTED. We stayed here several nights. We choose a Residence Inn because there was 5 of us and we were able to choose the 2 queens with a sofa couch option.Unfortunately the couch was in terrible shape. When you sat on it, half the cushion would sink several inches. When we went to pull the bed out to sleep on, it sank!!! We looked at it closer and the springs were missing and the fabric was torn.We asked them to bring up a roll away bed since the couch was useless. They brought up a mattress that looked very old. And looking at it, you could see every spring in it. It was barely better.When we talked to the front desk the next morning about the couch, she smiled at us and said they knew about it. WHAT? They shouldn't be renting a room to 5 people if only 4 can sleep in it. She said they were getting ready to replace all the couches.I am very disappointed.Residence Inn is supposed to be a nicer Marriott hotel. I could've gotten a better couch/sofa bed at a Quality Inn. They should not be charging that much money and then not provide a comfortable place for ALL their guests to sleep.They should never have let the couches to get in that state before "looking at replacing them". They should have been replaced awhile ago.Also, after an hour in checking in, a housekeeper walked in without knocking. She didn't speak English so we don't know what that was about. But it's comment practice to knock before entering a room.Rooms: Terrible couches and old roll away beds.Food & drinks: They had oatmilk at the coffee station! The pastries every morning were delicious!

Terrible service before during and after the stay Utah is awesome but stay at any of the surrounding hotels as the staff is unable to assist you and they are unwilling to honor their prices the price of our stay. Changed 3 times we were never given the 300$ credit. I was giving 4 different answers and still none that are reasonable Rooms are fine staff is unprofessional not knowledgeable of their own hotels deals
