“Great place to scan new and old photos, make videos and film digital and learn about your family history. The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I’d suggest stopping in for a tour of what they can do. It’s a great place for teens and adults. All religions are welcome!”

“RISE has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere that helps many individuals receive the help they need. The staff are all loving and kind, with the motivation to help their clients reach their full potential. If you see the staff in action, it is as if they work as one big family. “Common Ground Outdoor Adventures have been great to work with. We have been doing activities with them for many years. Their staff and volunteers are wonderful! They do a great job making sure all of our students have fun and enjoy themselves during each activity and are safe while participating. We also enjoy participating in activities with common ground because our students get to try activities they likely wouldn't be able to do otherwise. We look forward to doing activities with Common Ground for many more Years to come.”

“I enjoy the Stokes Nature Center. The bat and hummingbird activities were amazing. Make sure you are prepared to walk a bit to get to the entrance. Also, if they teemed up with the university or another place, make sure you check the address. We went to one event that ended up not being at Stokes, but advertised by them (maple tree sap collecting). I just assumed it was there because I saw Stokes, but it was at the University.”

“I cannot express enough how incredible Y-not Save a Sam is. Yvette pours her heart and soul into every aspect of this rescue, dedicating her life to ensuring that every Samoyed in her care finds not just a home, but the right home. Her passion for the breed and her tireless efforts to place these beautiful dogs in exceptional homes is truly inspiring. She goes above and beyond to make sure every foster and adopter has everything they need to give these Samoyeds the best lives possible. Her selflessness and commitment to these dogs is remarkable, and it inspires me to strive to be a better person. Yvette’s work reminds me of the impact one person can make when they dedicate their life to a meaningful purpose. I am so grateful for everything she does for these dogs and the families that love them.”

“The other thrift store had a mile long line to donate, so I drove an extra block north to GW and only one car was in front of me (on a Saturday) and the gentlemen was friendly and even offered me a sucker when I left. He was really friendly. I would recommend going here when you dont want to wait in a long line to drop off your donations”
