“I like supporting small local businesses, and visited the Sugar House, UT store for the first time. I had an order ready at their online store but it wouldn't arrive before Christmas. The items were in stock at the Sugar House store! As others have mentioned, it's a nice store but the main road to it is under construction. I found parking on a side street, and walked until I found the store. It's densely stocked. A clerk helped me find the items I was after, I created an account, paid for the merch, and was on my way in a jiffy. They were all very helpful. On the way home I decided to return (to a large online merchant with quick delivery) four disappointing items nowhere near as cool as the one offered at Blick. Those returns covered my purchases today! I'll be back. It's so nice being able to get supplies locally.”
“I visit Phillips Gallery every time I am in Salt Lake for the past 20 some years. The staff is constant, very low turnover, they are so knowledgeable, professional, and kind - I am an art lover, not a connoisseur. I never feel judged. But as a lover of art, I absolutely love this slice of heaven. Really one of the best galleries I have seen in my travels in this country. Salt Lake is so lucky to have this gem.”

“I love Joann! Use the app to get the best prices, because they always have coupons! This location is always clean when I stop by to shop in person. I’ve done pickup orders for here have had no issues. They tend to be pretty quick to bring out my order for curbside pickup. Employees are always friendly. Usually they do seem a little understaffed, but that’s probably the fault of someone(s) higher up in corporate. Despite occasionally waiting longer than usual in line at checkout, the staffing issue doesn’t bother me. And I have time to wait in line anyway so even that isn’t a big deal. The yarn selection seems better than other big brand craft stores. Big Twist (Joann’s brand) yarn is great, good prices for the quality and quantity received.”
