Amanda is an absolute super star!!! I got a flat tire on my way home, and she helped me out immediately and with a positive attitude. Everyone at the tire center was excellent and the service associates stayed past closing time to get me on my way. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks a million!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Costco Tire Center. I scheduled an appointment for a tire rotation and balance, arriving 15 minutes early, only to wait an unacceptable 2.5 hours for the service to be completed. It took them an hour to call that they were pulling my car in. To top it off, the staff told me I needed to rotate my tires more frequently, but I told them if it didn’t take over two hours for a simple service, I’d actually consider coming back at the recommended intervals. This isn't an isolated incident either.
The tire prices can't be beat and the staff tries to be helpful, but the complete disregard for my time isn't worth the savings. They have lost me as a tire customer. I expect much better from Costco and won’t be returning for tire services.

Why don't they answer the phone? Why don't they call you back when you leave a message? Why do you stand at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone helps you? Why do I set an appt and my car isn't even pulled into the bay until 30 mins after the appt time? My guess is they are at least 2 employees short. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. The $100 I save on my tires is no longer worth the aggravation. Employees are always easy to work with, but the time I waste here is too much for me to continue buying my tires here.

**Pros:**
- **Price**: Costco offers some of the most competitive prices on tires, which is a major draw for budget-conscious consumers.
- **Selection**: They have a good variety of tire brands and types, catering to different vehicles and driving needs.
**Cons:**
- **Service Wait Times**: Our experience with tire repair was less than ideal. When we needed a simple fix like a nail removal or a flat tire repair, we waited around three hours without any updates on the progress. This lack of communication can be particularly frustrating, especially if you're expecting a quicker service turnaround.
**Overall Experience:**
While Costco is unbeatable for buying tires due to their pricing, the service side, particularly for repairs, could use significant improvement. The absence of updates during the wait time was quite disappointing. If you're purchasing tires here, be prepared for potentially long waits if you need repairs or services. It might be wise to check if there are other options nearby for quicker service needs or at least ask about current wait times before committing to wait.
Costco is a great place to buy tires if you're looking to save money, but for services like repairs, consider having a backup plan or inquire about the current service load before deciding to wait at the store. If time is of essence, you might want to look into other service centers for quicker turnaround times.

Here’s a more compelling version of your review:
I strongly advise against using Costco Tire Center. While their tires might be slightly cheaper, the hassle and frustration simply aren’t worth it. The employees are shockingly incompetent, and their service is painfully slow—it takes them ten times longer to complete what should be a basic tire installation. Even worse, they often fail to do it correctly, leaving you with even more problems. If you value your time and want your tires installed properly the first time, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Costco Tire Center is a complete disappointment!

Got a decent price for the quality of tires we received. That’s about the end of any good coming from this place. It’s not worth even trying to call. They never answer the phone. My wife and I both called and left a message. Got nothing back. The employees seem nice but they have zero intentions to get to you quickly. In the efficient organization that is Costco this is the black hole of inefficiency.

I absolutely love costco and everything about it, but the tire center has to do better. It shouldn't take 2 hrs for your tires to get rotated and balanced, especially if you are required to schedule an appointment and are told to show up 15 minutes early. I get an occasional delay, but this has become a consistent experience. Happy to update my review if I see the Costco Tire Center improve.

Excellent tire prices. Plan ahead. Their installation appointments are running about 2 to 3 weeks out.

Great experience at the Tire center here. Was waiting for my turn to have air filled on tires when John volunteered to help check air pressure and fill it himself. A great gesture of customer service! Loved it!

Had a 12:15 pm appointment to mount 1 tire on a rim--that's it--nothing to put on the car. The car did not get in the bay area until after 1 and then about 2:10 the car is finally brought out. Who knows when it was actually ready?! we received no phone call. I believe if they hadn't seen us out there waiting and asked us which vehicle was ours, we'd still be waiting! VERY disappointed. I can understand running behind at times, but come on, 2 hours! Let us know upfront if it's going to be a long wait. Something needs to be done about the scheduling because this is unacceptable.

Costco tire center is abysmal for it's service times. I've never been to a tire shop that can't work you in. Their tire prices are good but it ends there. We had 2 appointments after spending over $2000 on snow tires, both times we were there for 2 to 3 hours before they could "get us in" what the heck are the appointments for then? Then wanted to do a quick rotation and was told at OPENING that "were too busy" went to Big O next door and was in and out in 45 mins with no appointments.
They weren't even using one bay, just had a bunch of stuff sitting in it. This is the slowest tire service center I've ever been too.

We made an appointment earlier in the week, we came in a little earlier to drop off our van to fix a slow leak in one of the tires. 2 1/2 hours later they came back and told us that the tire is unfixable. Okay, that happens but why did it take so long?
We took the van in to rotate the tires back in September and they told us that we needed new tires. When they told us the tire is unfixable today we asked them about the warranty, since we've only gone 40,000 miles and the warranty is for 80,000 miles and they mentioned that we needed new tires in September.... Well, now they Said that the tires have too much life left in them to use the warranty. So now we are 2 1/2 hours into this, they hadn't done any work, we now need 4 new tires, but don't qualify for the warranty... IDK, seems fishy. I'm going to get new tires, but it won't be here, they also aren't a full service tire center so they won't do an alignment either.

When you have an appointment for a tire rotation and it takes "professionals" an hour and a half when you're the only car at the time of the appointment, something is wrong. I have become disenchanted with Costco and their poor service and extremely long waits. I have used them for all my vehicles for the past 12 years, I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you don't care about your time, because they sure don't.

On the website, it says they take walk-ins and to call for availability. Don't waste your time they don't answer the phone's.
