“very nice and knowledgeable! i appreciated all the effort, even though my phone turned out to be unfixable.
after several hours of freaking over my phone being stuck in a reboot cycle and attempting to troubleshoot with my provider, samsung sent me to this shop. based on what was happening, both my provider and the guy at the shop (it's been a month or so, and i've forgotten his name now, sorry) were pretty sure it was a battery issue.
the repair took a little longer than quoted, but not much, and when i got back to the shop, he'd replaced the battery and it seemed to be working. he told me he just had to run a few tests that samsung uses to certify the phone for use, or something along those lines, but it wasn't rebooting. then a couple customers came in for help, which took about 10 minutes or so. by the time he got back to my phone, it had started up the reboot cycle again.
he was so apologetic, swore it had been working, and i told him it had a couple hours earlier in the day where it had been working just fine too, so i didn't blame him. he said if the battery didn't fix it, it was motherboard, and he couldn't fix that. he replaced the old battery and didn't charge me anything for the repair, because it didn't work.
it still sucked that i had to get a new phone, and i lost a lot from that one that i couldn't recover, but i really appreciated the effort and kindness through everything after i had such a horrible day”

“Finding a good electronics tech in Utah is hard, and Jeff is a great one. I collect vintage stereo equipment and Jeff has repaired two vintage receivers of mine. Both are working beautifully now.

All repairs come with a warranty, and I had issues with one receiver after got it back from service. Jeff took it back without a problem and it’s working great now.

His prices are fair, service is quick, and I’m impressed with his communication. If you can make the drive up to his shop, it’s worth the distance.”
