The five stars are for having a very neat, clean, organized, and stocked store. It was my first time here, as I was just visiting the area, but it was definitely the cleanest dollar store I’ve been in.
The cashier was friendly, too.

New workers are not attentive to what they are doing they spend more time talking and socializing while working the cash register
They have made numerous mistakes and you have to debate with them to get them to correct it. Also they really do not speak very good English which make the transactions very difficult at times.

This Family Dollar is a prime example why anyone who continues to shop here doesn’t respect and have dignity for themselves. First of all the management who runs the store had refused to fix air conditioning and employees and customers who come in are sweltering. Also, store had kick me out just for taking a picture of something and tries to get hostile towards customers if they explain something.Family dollar stores in multiple states have too had employees working without air conditioning in sweltering 100+ degree heat and not being attentive to it. Their behavior at this location and others proves that if they can treat their employees with disrespect, they easily can do it with customers. Don’t give these low down dirty shame folks your hard earned money

About 2 weeks ago I was in the store shopping and sometimes I decided I don't want a product so I would put it back on the Shelf the manager came over to me very rudely and told me to get out the store because I was messing it up I guess cuz I did not put the product back in the exact spot it went so she kicked me out . I assumed that it was just for the day she was having a bad day but no I went to go return to the store today and she told me that I'm not allowed this lady is the manager her name is Anne she has blonde hair that is short . She is the rudest person I've ever come in contact with I don't know why she's a manager she does her job poorly . As I can tell by the rest of the reviews on here no one else is pleased with her either so I asked why does she still have her job ? Can we all get together and do something about this this lady has the worst customer service skills I've ever seen I've never been kicked out of a store for not putting the product back in the right spot . I've never even heard of that in any store so please if you're interested in spending your money at this store don't it's a waste of time she does not deserve her job .

I will never again spend my money inside of that family Dollars on Monroe are they products or tampered with three occasions that I didn't went in there The first time I bought alcohol got home the seal was busted so I had to return it then second time I bought toothpaste seal was busted One time I went in there to buy deodorant and nowadays I got to start checking the items that I'm picking up because people are tampering with them today they seen me buy some headphones I have to work so I went back to work the headphones wasn't even in the box Good thing I had the receipt took the receipt in the box back to family Dollars and they gave me a argument about giving me my money back I know one thing for me I'm a black man and any black man or woman shouldn't be going in that family Dollars doing any shopping or spending their money because all they going to do is give you a bad deal at the end of the day and a hardship about spending your money and give you a hardship about the products that was tampered with if you try to return them just for safekeeping and safe thought or food for thought don't ever shop at that family Dollars over there They need to be shut down every time when I go in there I got to go around the store to find a helper or the clerk Never Again Will I spend my money in that family Dollars
