Went back to school shopping this last Saturday and the store was empty and no employees asked if we needed any help. The 3 of them just stood behind the counter talking. I had to go up and ask for a size. They didn’t have it and gave us a bigger size to try. I ended up going to the Nike website and ordering my daughter’s size myself. They obviously don’t work on commission, so they don’t have to try. Won’t be back. I remember a long time ago FootLocker wasn’t this way.

First time to Newgate Foot Locker. I thought since it was a real shoe store that we would be helped. Nope. Three kids, yes kids, 2 guys, 1 gal, standing together looking at their phones. Not a hi, not a can I help you, nothing. I asked for help. One kid grudgingly came over. Told him I wanted a 7.5 NB 550. He brings it out, sets it on the bench and walks away. That's it. Well, at least now we know my daughter's size. Service, work ethic, customer care were completely missing. Who runs this clown show? Explain to me why I should come back.

I am a veteran. They do not give me a discount even with my Id.I purchased four pairs of Jordan’s in two weeks, plus shirts and gear. No discount and I was treated very rudely by the manager Yanni on 08/07/2023 at around 4:00 pm. The workers are rude. The problem is they just do not care.

Been to this place a few times, and seemingly each time the service has been terrible. Once I stood at the counter for literal minutes as the two teenage employees chatted before they acknowledged my presence. Another time I called ahead of time to check whether they were open, and arrived about 15 minutes before closing. They then refused me service for being "too late", yelled "We're closed!" when I asked please, and stood there chatting until closing time. Another time while Google showed the store was open, they were closed for 2-3 consecutive days with no explanation. TLDR: Bunch of wannabe sneakerhead kids who don't take their jobs or your time seriously.
