Patst was amazing. She helped out my wife and I real quick. Took us in just as a walk-in,l and explained our tax situation very clearly. Even though we ended up owing, she was very thorough and helpful. Thank you so much.

Tried to use the system to get a different rep this year, still have me the same rep. Then apparently their payment system can't keep up with who's paid. 0/5 if possible. Save yourself time and money and use turbo tax. Or atleast a different office.

Steffi Baker is absolutely the most beautiful person inside and out. She went above and beyond for me in regards to my taxes and just making me feel proud of myself. She surprised me in so many ways I will forever continue to go to this location and have her help with my taxes. I’m beyond grateful and she most definitely deserves a raise ❤️

I went here off and on for years. Same guy every time. I went back with my wife this time as we decided to have a “professional” look over everything and make sure we were doing it correctly. Online it said 80 dollars to have them do your taxes. Apparently in the fine print that was only for your federal. They charged for EVERY LINE and for checking every box. 2 1040 EZ forms should not be almost 700 dollars. You can do it online for free and you get all the same protections from H&R Block. What a joke. They wanted to charge me 235 dollars for 1 form because I have an HSA. That is price gouging. Also one of the first things that was said because of my current profession, that it’s “a presidents” fault” that I can’t claim something. I quote “he really screwed you guys”. It’s unprofessional to talk about your political opinion or ask invasive questions to your clients, as well as make judgement calls about our marital status. I was also told something about the head of household and what we can claim. I called Jackson Hewitt and they said that was a flat out lie. I will never give these people my business again and I encourage others to steer clear of them. Shady practices and UNPROFESSIONAL tax analysts.

My daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by today by Larisa Poulter. She did a wonderful job doing our taxes, answering all our questions and above all saved us money! The appointment was prompt and both our taxes were done quickly but very professionally.

Worst. Experience. Do NOT go here for tax help. Rhonda filed our taxes in 2022. Now the IRS is coming after us. I went to the office and nobody knows anything, no help was given! I went back this afternoon, because they said the manager would be in. Still not there. They got mad at ME. All I want is to resolve this tax problem. The entire reason we went to HR block was to avoid this issue altogether. I am extremely dissatisfied and wish that we had never used them. We paid a lot more for HR Block than we would of for Turbo Tax, and Turbo Tax would've gotten it right!

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with taxes at the Ogden office. They messed up my state taxes twice. The first time they fixed it without much issue.
The second time I scheduled a phone appointment, they never called. Sent a message on the H&R block message system and was told I had to go into the office, even though it was a quick fix.
I filed a complaint. They called the next day and said they saw the complaint and would get back to me. Never did.
When I went in to the office they were rude and argued that the state was wrong and they used the correct code. They then googled the code to find the answer, and was still rude. They had no manager I could talk to about the problem either.
I told them I wanted a refund and they gave me paperwork that describes "how to get a refund." It was paperwork saying that they aren't reliable for quality.
Never use them for your taxes. I'm sure if I hadn't paid them already, the service would be different.
I still want a refund with all of my time they are wasting.

Really frustrated with this office. Had my taxes done the end of February and was charged twice. When I called about it, i was told 5 to 6 business days for my refund. Waited 14 days and called again. Waited 14 days and called again. Was told they would look into it and call me back. I was told the District Manager was going to look into it and call me back. Now its been almost 2 months and District Manager is no longer there, and the manager is out now until next Monday. I asked for a corporate number and was told they are the corporate number. I do not recommend. They will charge you twice and then not want to give your money back.

Megan is a saint. So helpful, very empathetic and wonderful to work with! Give this woman a cookie and a raise. Last day, last couple hours of tax season anxdthis lady saved my life, helping me file. Shantelle Poulsen is the best tax specialist ever if you want a friendly and honest person on your side threw tax season head to 3595 Washington Blvd in Ogden and ask for Shantelle Poulsen..
The lady in the front office answering phones I do not remember her name but she was kind and caring when I had come in to drop my taxes off.. she was very helpful.. and caring.. big smiles from everyone..
