Cool theater. We were here for a dance competition. Concessions were a little overpriced imo

Terrible customer service. Called for a reimbursement on our way to a show (in Feb) bc of an emergency. Ruby notified me that they couldn’t reimburse, but could switch our tickets for another show (in Aug 😳). I called back to schedule a different show, no one answered, left a voicemail, never got a call back. Finally got a hold of Ruby again on my 4th call, 3 weeks later, to which she said she had talked to “everyone” and they were no longer able to switch my tickets to a different show bc the show I had tickets for originally, was over. Who knew. Awful customer service.

The theater is really beautiful. The seats are very comfortable. On Mondays. They do sometimes have free music shows but you do need to get tickets. It was really a lovely experience.

Tale of Two Cities was AMAZING!!! I was tentative about this play as I saw it recently at the Hale theater and it was so good and this was "in concert" but wow, Wow, WOW! I was so pleased with how wonderful it was here. Absolutely fantastic! I went home ans texted my whole contact list that they needed to go to this production! The orchestra was so Great and the actors get 1000 stars! Loved it!

I came here for a dance comp and the setting of this place is amazing! There isn't a whole lot of space to chill and relax though.

I went to see the Ogden Musical Theater's production of A Tale of Two Cities: In Concert. I paid $28 per ticket, before taxes.
First, the confessions are unreasonably expensive. There isn't a drinking fountain and I paid $4 for a bottle of water.
Second, the production used AI generated backgrounds. They were so bad and really took me out of the moment. And these backgrounds were not special, they could have easily found existing images to use. One background was trying to spell "Bastille". One building had "bASLLE" and another had "bY/sile". Another scene was a simple bedroom in a Versailles-like building. The bed had an awning and one connected post. The other post disappeared halfway up to the awning and the awning just connected to the back end instead, creating a triangle.
Third, they used 0 costumes. Everyone in the cast wore black pants, a black t-shirt, and a black blazer. Some of the women wore black dresses. No one took off their Apple watches. It takes 2 seconds to take off an Apple watch and you're charging me $30 per ticket, come on. Again, took me out of the moment.

I've seen a few different things here and always had a good time. It's a charming theater, and I'm glad Ogden saved it.

We have been there for dance competitions and the sound is so loud that it is physically painful. Very bad for everyone's ears! I really hate having my grandchild there losing all those hearing cells. I wore ear plugs and it was still way too loud!!!
