After rebuilding the transmission in my 03 Dodge, at times it had trouble shifting from 2nd to 1st. The truck would almost push me through a light or stop sign before I could flip it into neutral. I took it back multiple times and Scott worked on trying to figure out what the problem was. He spent a lot of extra time on it and tried really hard. I felt bad having to take it back so many times thinking they should have been able to figure out what they screwed up on by now. I was beginning to think I messed up taking it to Scott. He figured it out, it wasn't the transmission. My transmission control module was bad and wasn't allowing the transmission to down shift. When you have a worn out transmission you don't really need a transmission control module. That was 2 yrs ago and the transmission and truck tow well. Highly recommended

I’m very happy with the job done on my Allison transmission. I had a front seal leak fixed and now it doesn’t leak. Scott and crew are honest people which is hard to find these days. Will use again for any transmission repairs.Service: Transmission

Unfortunately I have had a horrible experience with Scott and crew at S&G transmissions . I took my truck in there to have my transmission serviced and my transfer case resealed . My transfer case is still leaking after taking it back to them 3 times . At this point I want my money back. they charged me $1,250.00 and didn't fix the problem.Service: Transmission

I stopped by yesterday March 15th 2022 to ask some questions about my Ford Transit connect transmission having some occasional rough shifting. I can not say enough how much I appreciate Scott for going above and beyond for helping answer my concerns. He is extremely informative and knows exactly what he is talking about. Though I don't have any transmission problems that need fixing at the moment, I will be sure to bring my vehicle to him, when or if the time comes. (Fingers crossed that time doesn't come.) S&G Transmission was Highly recommended to me by my mechanic's shop owner... as well as my Corvette specialist..... So I went to him... His first opening was a ways out but I thought he was worth the wait. My 99 Corvette lost Reverse... Turns out it lost Second, Forth and overdrive too. Anyway they ended up rebuilding the entire Transmission. Cost more than we initially thought, But, it was a total rebuild with upgrades and updates and not cheap aluminum. It runs MUCH BETTER!!! Scott and his guys know they're stuff, when I stopped by Scott showed me the old broken stuff and the new parts and how it fits together, very complicated stuff!!! All new clutches gears slip stuff belts and other stuff above my head!!! But now I know what went into the project and am grateful for all they're hard work! I'm glad I took it to S&G Scott and Kevin and Devin were great!!! Thanks guys!!!Service: Transmission
