I had booked an appointment over 3 weeks. Called to verify moving date and they sent verification through email and text. On the day of the move no one showed up, called, or tried to contact me. I have called multiple times to try and figure out what was going on and still no response. I even put down a deposit. I would not use them at all, very unprofessional.

By far the best Moving Company in Utah, south west Wyoming, and southern Idaho! Very strategic and gentle with the packing as well as loading the moving truck! 10/10 highly recommend to absolutely anyone in the market to hire a moving company!

We booked an appointment with Smooth Movers to load a truck, however they never showed up. I tried calling and texting them several times, but received no response. They did not contact us until the following week to apologize, stated an emergency came up with the boss, and refunded our deposit.

Confirm your appointment and then ghost you! You'll be chasing them to find out what happened. We scheduled our move with Smooth Movers two weeks before our move date. The day before I received an email and text confirming our move for the scheduled date and time. Three movers and a 26ft box truck would show up between 9-10am. I'm at the pick up location about an hour before to ensure everything is ready. 10am comes and still no movers have showed. I get that things happens so I wait until around 10:30am... still no movers and honestly worse is that there's no communication from Smooth Movers as to what is going on. I call a few times and no answer, so I leave a voicemail and send an asking what's going on and request an update. 11:15am and still no communication and no movers. I keep calling, but no one picks up and I'm just getting a voicemail. I finally get a call around 11:45 that the truck is having problems and then am promised that someone (either the movers or someone at the office) will call me in 10 mins.... 30 mins go by and are we surprised? No one calls me. I call again and no one picks up, so I leave another voicemail asking what's going on. 12:45pm j get a call back that they're having personnel issues... at this point I'm being told it's better if we rescheduled and let's get us set up for tomorrow, which I'm obviously not happy about but I need movers since it would be my husband and I juggling 11 month old twins while packing a moving truck we would have to rent. So, they'll confirm for tomorrow and call me back shortly... 45 mins later I get a call that the rep has talked to his manager, the dispatch manager, and the owner of the company.... And get this... "they think it's in my best interest to go with another moving company" because they don't have any availability for the entire weekend and "hope my move goes smoothly" and that it's just hard because there's so many people on spring break?! Maybe don't schedule and confirm a move that you don't have resources for! My husband and I both took a day off of work to be strung along for hours and told different stories instead of the truth. This company is a waste of time!

We scheduled our move with Smooth Movers three weeks prior to our move. We have been anxiously waiting to move and so excited for our new home. It’s the day of the move and we have brought all of our boxes out to the front room, garage and driveway.An hour after our scheduled time, we still hadn’t heard from the movers. They still hadn’t showed up. So we started to call m, with no answer. Two hours later, no answer, three house later, we finally got ahold of someone - just to tell us that they don’t have a moving truck to use for our move. They said they’re booked all week so to call another company.No one tried to call us and let us know in advance. No one tried to accommodate or squeeze us in. Such awful customer service. A heads up or a simple phone call would have made all the difference. Thanks for nothing.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We moved my parents from their mountain home and used Smooth Movers to move the furniture. Ethan and Ryan were kind, friendly, professional and efficient. The price was reasonable. We could not have had a better moving experience .

LOVED the service I got from these guys yesterday (08/27/2020)! They gave a very fair price, got the work done quickly, and were very professional about everything. There was clear communication throughout the entire process, they moved me with only two days notice, and they made sure nothing was damaged. Granted, I only hired them to move a fridge, washer, and dryer, but another company charged me nearly $600 and refused to move those things! Definitely calling on them again when we buy a house and move again next year.

These guys were on time, quick, polite, professional demeanor and had an affordable rate. I would not use them again and wouldn't recommend them to a friend. A very critical part of moving is doing so carefully. I have several broken panes of glass on picture frames, Boxes that were placed upside down, a broken corner of an antique dresser that was dropped on each stair using the dolly instead of gentle and carefully. Moving into my new home, damage to the drywalls. I presume this is a isolate incident so i wont beat a dead horse or sandbag the business.
