WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS!!!! Absolute waste of time. Picked up a voltage tester for a job. Showed up to the job with all the equipment needed but the voltage tester is faulty. The store manager has someone filling in till Tuesday who says they don’t take items like this back. I wasted an hour to buy a tool I can’t use or return. I asked them if they wanted to keep it so they can rip off the next person that buys it too. What a joke

I wish I could give 0 stars. I had a horrible experience today at SouthFork Hardware and I couldn’t let it go unnoticed.I am in my last weeks of pregnancy and I’m trying to get some projects done in that time. I just needed to grab some screws and drywall anchors. I had my 4 year old and 1 year old with me while shopping. My 4 year old let me know she needed to use the restroom asap. I asked the man working if we were able to use the bathrooms and he said “No. They’re closed.” Not very helpful. I figure a public place like this should have their bathrooms open. I let my 4 year old know that she was going to have to hold it for just another minute while we quickly grabbed our last item and checked out. I wasn’t able to write down the sku for the drywall anchors on the self serve bag because by now I am struggling to carry my heavy 1 year old. I figure the man can help me or he’ll just be able to ring me up because it was just some drywall anchors and I would guess that he probably sells those often. I get up to the register, clearly struggling and in need of some help and he says “did you write the prices on the bag?” And I replied with “no. They’re the 1 inch and 1.5 inch. I believe they were 92cents.” Again, I am clearly needing some help. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go back to the back of the store and get those numbers. I understand the process to make it easier for him, but I was clearly in a bind with my child needing to use the restroom and my toddler trying to wrestle his way out of my arms, while also very pregnant. I left without buying anything because I was in shock with the lack of customer service and simple kindness. Will not ever be returning here.

Very overpriced and rude. If you have time go into Ogden unless you like paying more for anything you need there. I returned some paint because it was double the price. The kid working checked my receipt and told me that if I had waited one more day he wouldn't have accepted the return. Instead of, you made it just in time or a nice comment he was rude about the return, which I don't understand. I will never give them business again.

Not a great experience the last few times. The service definitely went downhill. There used to be a woman worked there who knew where everything was and the service was fantastic, she would happily take you to find what ever obscure item you were looking for. Last couple of guys won't even leave the desk to help and generally seem disinterested in helping. It's a shame because I like shopping local and don't mind paying extra for great service. Back to the big box stores for me I think.

?A hardware store for finding & purchasing household items for updates, repairs, and enhancements for what you consider home. This store had the stainless steel hardware I needed at the time for a project. Will definitely visit again for future projects!

They have what I need about half the time. I don't know what else to say. Sorry guys but you close early, and you don't know the needs of the neighborhood you are located in. You should cater to handymen.

After a handful of tries facing rude, unhelpful staff- I won't be back. I'll take the drive to the ACE on south Harrison.

Gave it three tries, because I prefer to shop local, even if it's more expensive, but couldn't get over how the employees treat my husband and I like trash. Forced to leave our bag at the front like we were going to steal, no offers of assistance, and just an overall sense of derision. Plus they have an insanely high credit card minimum, so you can't stop in for just a few things. Won't be back again, I prefer not to be treated like I'm worth less than dirt. Two stars just because it's a pretty good location, and they do have good inventory.

Keith should teach customer service classes. I called every store I could think of to find ice melt and nobody had any and when i called the store keith answered and said that it wasnt available in the front yet but that he had received a pallet of 50 lb bags and he would go grab however many I needed and have them waiting in a cart by the front door. He also was my cashier and just one of the friendliest people I have ever dealt with. To top off my amazing experience he had me pull my car up to the front door and he carried it out to my car for me. I will definitely be back thank you Keith

I really wanted to shop at a local hardware as opposed to the big ones blue or orange. This location has one “employee“. Customer service skills way below par, needs to be in the back counting nails not upfront. I’ve spent a lot of money here in the past and will not return.

I don't know how their hiring and training process goes but my assumption is that these employees are trained to look at every customer with suspicion and push them out. They go out of their way to make customers feel uncomfortable and their prices are through the roof. With inflation and all the other costs in your life this is the last place you want to shop.
