Edit to add, after reply. We did send an email asking Aaron to fix his mistake On 11/20. This mistake was not outside the scope of the work your firm was hired to do. This has to do with the filing status that was filed wrong. Only the knowledge of a tax professional would have known this. With zero reply in over a month, His silence tells us he is not willing to fix his mistake. As for the filing deadline that was missed, why was that NOT brought to any of our attention? Another poor oversight by your firm. So you were paid to file an amended returns, but did so without keeping the deadline in mind, nor notifying either party about the deadline, causing that work to be essentially useless. But at least your firm got paid for doing it, for ultimately no reason whatsoever. Absolutely would not recommend this group to anyone. Unfortunately, we were ordered to use them by our Special Master to enforce filing amended returns because originals went against court orders. After not seeing any updates on the IRS Portal, we went and sat with an IRS individual, and then another Tax professional who pointed out a few errors on the amended returns. The biggest one was that one amendment was filed 3 days AFTER the deadline, so it was no longer accepted at the IRS. I know why it was filed after the deadline (ex drug her feet on getting it signed), which wasn't completely Schulers fault, but the lack of communicating that to us, or getting the special master to enforce a signature from the ex PRIOR to the deadline would be my expectation of someone hired to make sure this gets taken care of. The other issues, I brought up to Schuler in an email, and he asked for more compensation, to fix HIS errors. I called him out on that, and he has since gone silent. I will now have to pay another firm, to fix this firms errors, and I am out of the money I would have saved if the other year were filed on time. Go somewhere else if you have the choice!

Aaron Schuler is probably the biggest life saver for me
I had a lot going on with the IRS no one would touch me but Aaron took me in and has walked me through every step and in my opinion at a price I couldn’t pass up him and his tax preparers truly probably save me from a mental breakdown and I couldn’t be more please
Like I said no one would help me everyone kept saying oh no you need more help then I can offer but Aaron didn’t blink an eye he went in full speed and helped me figure it all out

I was a little skeptical of having to pay someone to do my taxes because of all the free options out there. We don’t have a lot, other than student loan debt and our single family home. We also don’t make a ton but Davis Financial was well worth it! Just to see if I actually needed to pay them to do my taxes before my appointment, I did what I would do with TurboTax and TT said I was going to owe $1100! Well after my meeting with Davis Tax, we got a refund for $1700! That’s a $2800 difference! Well worth the couple hundred to have a professional do it! I recommend them to everyone now!
