Union Station is a must-see destination and a top attraction in Ogden, known for its rich history and welcoming atmosphere. The building itself is a beautiful and amazing landmark with striking Spanish Colonial Revival architecture from the 1920s, offering a sense of nostalgia and feeling like stepping back in time. The station houses a super cute and impressive collection of museums. These include the Utah State Railroad Museum, which showcases vintage locomotives and interactive exhibits on the transcontinental railroad, a firearms museum, and a car museum, providing a deep dive into Utah's industrial history. There is also a kids area for play. Visitors highlight the model train scenes and the recognition given to Chinese railroad workers and African American Pullman porters. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, a great spot to relax, grab a coffee, and soak in the heritage. It is a great place to visit and learn for visitors of all ages, whether history enthusiasts, train lovers, or those simply looking for a peaceful and memorable experience. There is a gift shop with unique souvenirs.
A must see in Ogden. Very few places like this left. If you are lucky, there might be an event there like there was when I visited. Great local venue.

I came here for the farmers market and was impressed with everything but the coffee food truck outside. They had the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted which may just be my lack of experience with their roasts, but it was truly unpleasant and sour tasting. I am not sure what the company was called… Wasatch something…
