A review of AAA, not the Orem, Utah Branch
I joined AAA at the beginning of 2025 after a 35 year hiatus. I then visited the Orem, Utah location in April to request a Trip-Tik and some maps.
What I can tell you is that the paper Trip-Tik is horrible and nothing close to resembling the quality of the 70s, 80s and early 90s. And their paper maps, if they even have what you're looking for, are inferior. And NO tour books except for online and very limited selection. Terribly disappointed and will not renew next year or ever again. The Orem branch customer service was very good but they are saddled with an inferior product.
That said, just stick with Google Maps or another software product. And carry roadside assistance on your car insurance for a couple of dollars a month. $65-$125 for a membership just doesn't have the value.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Shayne. We went in for an international drivers license application but forgot the printed form at home. Shayne was kind enough to print our completed form so we didn’t have to refill it out. She also offered the photo service, explained prices, and made the process a breeze. She has a very bright, fun personality that made the entire experience very enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back to this location for any future AAA needs.

I needed a notary, and a friend of mine told me AAA offered this service for no extra charge. I was able to go in at my convenience and very my document notarized in a matter of minutes. Great service!

The AAA Orem branch provided an outstanding experience when we went in to get an international driver's license and passport photos. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the process with ease. They made everything quick and seamless, ensuring that we had all the documents we needed for our trip. The passport photos were professionally done, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Extremely frustrating experience. Needed to get an IDP, figured I'd save some time and get the passport photos done here, too, even though Walgreens charges less and gives you the digital copies. So got them taken for $20, then found out I would need to file another IDP in a year as it's only good for 1 year and I needed 18 months, so I asked them to print a 2nd pair of photos. How much would you pay for 2 more 2" x 2" photos that you'd already paid to be taken and printed? They charged me ANOTHER $20! That's right, $40 for a 90 second service. This is criminal. If I ever have to step foot in this office again it will be too soon. Save yourself money and go to Walgreen's instead.
