I needed a custom length screws for my dresser drawers. I was hoping to find it at Ace, but alas, no size available. Bruce cut me eight screws to size! Awesome, and saved me a lot of grief cutting them myself.

I went there for the first time ever with broken Craftman tools to ask about a repair center / servicing program. I was doubtful about anyone’s ability to help. All they said was “we’ll take care of you!” After exchanging my old, broken tools for new ones. I proceeded to order my next tool set.
This management team definitely earned my trust and business for any future purchase

I’m usually very pleased when I walk into any Ace Hardware because I get help immediately but the last couple times I’ve walked into this hardware store, no one asked me if I needed any help or even greeted me and I generally need help finding what I need. I sat staring at fasteners yesterday for the longest time and couldn’t find the fastener that I needed, I walked over to a man sitting on a stool and asked for help and the gentleman basically pointed and said it’s in that area…no help. It was a bit frustrating and I won’t likely go back. I enjoy going to Gordon’s Ace and there’s an Ace Hardware up in northern Utah where every time you walk in the store they greet you, say hello and ask if they can help you. Yesterday at Allred’s, there were three employees standing there but I guess they were preoccupied with something else. Update: I was pleasantly surprised on my last visit, the staff was very helpful although I did have to ask for help.
