Complete scam of a company. They raise your rates without telling you and then expect upfront pay? And then since you have never filed a claim you think they’d be cool with you, they proceed to tell me that an axle that has snapped on my van is “normal wear and tear and is not covered by them. But what’s new? It’s insurance, the biggest scam in American history.

I was rear ended in an auto accident and the person who hit me was insured with Auto Owners Insurance. James Woods was the adjuster assigned to the case and I found him to be very professional and efficient. Mr. Woods went also went the extra mile in making sure I had a rental car when my car was in the shop being fixed.
When my auto insurance needs to be renewed, I’m considering taking my business to Auto Owners because customer service seems to be a top priority.

I had an outstanding experience working with Dell Johnson, with Auto Owners. My vehicle was in a nasty accident and he was so on top of working with the collision center to get it taken care of. This was my first time being in such a situation and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Dell’s help. He was always quick to respond and made time to answer all questions and concerns. It felt like I made a friend through all of this mess! Thanks Dell!! You’re the best!!

Canceled my policy with no notice saying they sent information for billing when they never did and then they canceled insurance with no warning. Absolutely insane and my agent said they've seen them do this before.

We recently had a once in a lifetime hail storm hit our small town in Indiana. Our truck that was outside received nearly $6000 dollars in damages and the bedcover had to be replaced as well. We contacted Auto Owners Insurance and Dani from Utah immediately sent me an email recapping what coverage I had and what was going to happen to resolve our claim. I made an appointment with our local body shop and before I was home, Dani had me a rental car reserved, and ready for me to pick up the day I took the truck in for repairs. As soon as the truck was repaired, I purchased a new bedcover at a local shop and had it installed. Then, I sent the bedcover invoice to Dani, who immediately sent me a check for the truck repairs and the new bedcover. Thanks to Dani, this whole process went super smooth. It makes me extremely happy that there are still people that take pride in their jobs.

Auto Owners is a great insurance company to do business with! They are pleasant, helpful, responsive, and informative!
I especially appreciated my adjuster, James, for the extra efforts he made to help get me through the process, and for his clear communication, and courtesy!
Nate and Teresa also contributed to the positive experience! Auto-Owners has “live” receptionists answering calls and questions, which prevents so many frustrations, and delays in getting things handled.
I highly recommend Auto-Owners Insurance!

I worked with Dani after being in a car accident, and she made the process of losing a vehicle very seamless and easy. Hard to let a vehicle go that I’ve owned for 11 years, but nice to be well taken care of.
