Update on Lexus -
August 2025 Repair # 3 the Power Steering fluid leeks and part of the system needs to be replaced.
May 2025 Repair # 2 We bought a used Lexus RX350 for our son. First, it was overpriced, but I was okay with that because of the brand of vehicle being purchased (Lexus) and the (supposed) low miles, hoping that it had been taken care of under 119k miles
Now - less than 9 months later we are paid almost $5,800 for repairs, a new engine. With now over $7000 in total repairs
Repair # 1 we had a noise in the rear passenger side - found out a broken rear end piece that needed to be welded to fix
So far with driving less than 6,000 miles we have had to replace power steering, get a new engine, and have a welding job done to stop rattling
My fault for trusting a used car salesman - they are used car salesmen- and should be shut down for selling such vehicles
They sold us a lemon (and yes we do all the preventive maintenance). In the over 37 years of me buying cars, used and new, I have never had to pay this much for any repair, as we take care of all our vehicles.
They should buy it back from us and repair it themselves -because who the heck sells a car that in a few months needs such extensive work.
I cannot recommend them. Now after repair 3 I say RUN FROM THEM. Btw I have all the receipts for proof for anyone to view .

Auto Select went above and beyond for me and I had nothing but a stellar experience.
I find them online because they had the Toyota Hilander I'd been on the hunt for and it was at a competitive price. I called and told them I wanted it and that I'd be traveling 3+ hours to get it. I asked if they could hold it for me, which they did, without requiring deposit. When I arrived the Toyota was in great shape, clean and exactly as I expected except for 3 things:
1.There was a part in the steering column that was being delivered tomorrow, and as a result, there were some lights on the dash. But they offered to either put me up in a hotel for the night or to drive a different car home, (3 hours on I15), and they would bring my car to me after they installed the part.
2. The stereo kept kicking my phone off the Bluetooth, so they offered to put in a new stereo deck.
3. Two of the tires were pretty poor. But they offered to put two new tires on the front.
So I elected to drive a different car home and let them bring my new car in a few days when all the repairs and things had been done. They kept in contact with me the whole time, delivered when they said they would and were totally accommodating and professional. I was very impressed and happy with my experience.
I've had my car now for 8 months and it has been solid. No issues, no work needed and I love it! 10 out of 10, would recommend Auto Select in Orem!

I hate the stereotype auto dealerships, but I’ve never had a good experience until today with Angel and this family owned used car dealership. Super friendly, super honest and not just out trying to make a sale. Highly recommended.
