I wish I could put 0 stars.
The reviews are deceiving.
Thought they would specialize in pixie haircuts, but then cut it too short without any technique.
Then they say they would like to find a solution to fix it????
How can you fix it when you’ve cut it too short and did exactly the opposite of what I said??

Completely DEVESTATING haircut. Could not have possibly listened to the request of hair length. Went from long hair from middle of the back to shaved with a #1 in the back of head. Absolutely crushed with the lack of skill for a hair cut. Be WARNED about the lack of experience here.

David is simply the best barber/hairstylist in the state. I’ve tried other options, and I’ve never had a haircut live up to what I get at CO-LAB. My brother and I have a running joke that David can single handedly add 2 points to your attractiveness scale! Come in as an 8, leave as a 10! I currently drive 45 minutes from SLC just to see David, and he never disappoints. In fact, when I lived out of state, I used to grow out my hair longer until I was able to schedule an appointment with him! A hair savant, an 11/10 experience, and overall just a great dude. Come to CO-LAB for a cut before your next date, you won’t be disappointed!

Dave is not a barber and he’s certainly not one of these $50 men’s fade jobs that are popping up everywhere. What he offers is an experience with your hair that you will enjoy morning after morning when you put yourself together. Your hair simply plays better, it sits properly and feels lighter after each visit and weeks thereafter. He’s not a barber, he’s an educator and a master at his craft and after one sitting with him you’ll be able to tell how well he’s honed his skill. He’s great for confidence through conversation. He’s an optimist and doer. This is seriously the best money you can spend on yourself. Do it right, let Dave teach you about your hair….you’ll thank yourself.

I’ve been getting my haircut from David for a few years now and I keep going back for the professionalism, and great looking cut. This isn’t just an ordinary haircut you get anywhere else. You can tell David loves what he does and does it really well. He puts a lot of thought and care into every haircut I’ve received, and you can tell he has put thousands of hours into his craft. I get compliments on my haircut all the time. Not only are the haircuts amazing, but the time and thought that goes into the space and ambiance is noticed when you first walk in the door. Co-lab salon pays attention to the small details and I highly recommend them to everyone.

David has cut my hair for at least ten years and has always done a terrific job. Having my hair look nice is important to me and that always begins with a good cut. When I leave Co-Lab, I love how my hair looks!
