I’ve enjoyed going to this place. They have beautiful, healthy plants. The only reason I give it a four star is because pricing is not well advertised

Excellent experience with Cooks. On my most recent visit they were so accommodating and helpful. They answered questions, advised, and helped us as we bought two trees. We have had good experiences on previous visits and bought shrubs, perennials, annuals and flowers from them in the past and now trees. We plan on continuing to come to Cooks for our greenhouse needs.

Best variety in Utah county though up in Salt Lake county there are way better offerings. Been going here for over a decade because of the location, but the place has become such that I would go anywhere else if I could. Typically there is either no one around when you need help, or there are 5+ teenagers all assisting one person or avoiding eye contact with customers. And when you do ask someone for help, you either get annoyed responses or a blank empty stare. They don't know seem to know much about the plants they sell, where things are located, or how to work the register. You're the lucky one if you get confusion and a hoard of other employees called to assist you.

I really love this place. Their variety is great and it's easy to navigate. They are my go to nursery.

Lots of great plant options and reasonably priced. The layout is super easy and it's easy to find plants. Some pricing signage is a bit confusing, but overall it is a pretty good option for plants, weed barriers, fertilizers. Mulch and tools are pricier here and you can get cheaper ones so other locations. We still regularly frequent this store as they gave the most comprehensive and best cared for options.

Terrible customer service. We have bought so many things here over the years. They always find a way to not honor their "guarantee" when a tree or shrub dies after purchase. Yesterday, staff led me to an herbicide for a problem I described. I learned it was not the best solution, so today returned the product. They charged me $20 to credit the return back to my credit card. Complete disrespect for customers. There are a lot of nurseries. We won't be going back to this one.

Love this place!! I come every year for my veggie starter plants! They always have loads of inventory and plenty of helpful employees. It's just a real garden store and I really enjoy going for my outdoor planting/gardening needs!

Cook's Nursery has always been our "go to" place for plants. We have been going there for many years; we just felt they offered better plants at a fair price. We have probably spent thousands of dollars with them over the years. However, this year we have found the prices have increased (understandably, as EVERYTHING has) but the quality has gone down. We were finding better plants at lower prices elsewhere. However, we still purchased two essentially identical plants there earlier this month. Both were treated identically (same sunlight, same water, same type of location, etc) One did well and continues to. The other started struggling within days of coming home. We nursed it and tried to bring it back to health for a week; but it pretty much died. I called Cooke's about replacing it, since there was clearly something defective about the plant from the outset (since it died under identical circumstances to the one that is doing great). I was rebuffed and they took no responsibility whatsoever; they just said that I must have done something to kill it (despite it having identical treatment to the other one that we purchased). In short, we will never return to Cook's again. The poorer quality plants that we found this year combined with the fact that they refuse to take any responsibility for a defective plant, just sent us elsewhere. That is not the way to treat a loyal customer.

A beautiful rustic mossy store filled with all the implements of gardening. Seeds, grow pots, tools, vegetables, herbs, flowers, trees, cacti, etc. A plethora of options for those of us who have green thumbs.A few hard-working staff devote themselves to this store, and it can get very crowded, so please don't be in a rush when you come to shop here. Be respectful and polite.Whoever arranges the store has an eye for beautifying and instilling a uniqueness, or maybe it's just simple organizing. It is a wonderful establishment that has been around for decades, and hopefully, decades more.I love this place. ?

A friendly well stocked locally owned nursery.Be careful when buying large orders or expensive plants that you will FOR SURE not want to return anything. Their policy only provides store credit if items are returned same-day. I purchased a $64 bush (with other plants) and realized that evening it would not work as I had hoped. When I tried to return it the next morning at 9:00 am they would only provide store credit.

They have beautiful plants with great variety. However the service was not great. They were annoyed that I asked them questions. In fact the first employee I asked said no I probably can't help you. The one that said he could help me, only gave short answers (yes,no) and walked away before I could ask him anything else. I could understand if I was asking lengthy questions and using them as free landscapers. But I was asking about indoor plants and which ones would work in my home. Maybe it was just a bad day.

I by my garden plants there. They have knowledgeable people there to ask questions. Also many of the shoppers know a lot.

Went back again and this time I was in search of plants for the yard specifically Bleeding heart bushes. Lo and behold they had them, not bare roots for planting or tiny weak looking plants. These guys were at least 8 in tall. I also found a good variety of herbs and salad greens. Again the place was extremely busy in my opinion but the employees insist it was a slow day. (THURSDAY) I Dont want to know what a weekend is like, I'd stay away.

This is a good garden center with good prices. It's nice to be able to support local business that employs a lot of our area's young people. They have about every plant you might want, and bulk landscaping stuff too. Be careful going on a Saturday in the spring time, it's a mad house.
