I’ve been taking classes and bands at the rock lab for 8ish years and I love it so much! I’ve learned a ton of relevant information about music and it has also helped me to gain so much confidence as a person! Dave is an amazing musicians and knows how to teach super well, whether or not you are planning on being a professional musician I would 100% recommend learning an instrument/joining a band here!!

Dave is the best!I take bass lessons from Dave and he's taught my wife guitar.After struggling for 20+ years on my own with bass, and noodling on the same old riffs over and over, I decided to get a teacher so I could really learn the instrument. Dave's expertise blew me away right out of the gate and I have been able to go so much further than I ever thought possible on the bass.Dave really nails down the fundamentals, but he makes them fun whilst also challenging (not an easy thing to do).He adapts his teaching style and approach to each student individually to truly connect and learn how they will best absorb and retain the information.I couldn't recommend Dave (and his whole program) enough and we are grateful for having our lives enriched by his teaching!

Incredibly talented group of working musicians willing to share their skills and knowledge. Dave creates an environment that is motivational and nurturing, with lots of opportunities to perform in real bands with members of the same skill levels. It's truly a unique and exceptional musical experience. As an amateur musician myself, I highly recommend regardless of age or skill level. In my case, I was paired with other moms, and learned to play the drums! We performed at a number of venues. SO MUCH FUN!! I was able to excel and take my musical journey to the next level.

Dave’s an excellent teacher who adds his own unique enthusiasm and humor to his lessons. As an adult, returning to lessons after many years, I found his style and methods really beneficial to my learning process. Highly, highly recommend!

Such an awesome program! I've had two boys go through, one on drums and one on guitar. They loved every minute of it, from practice to performance. One son said following the performance, "That was the best 30 minutes of my life!" Dave has such a great way with the kids. I highly recommend Dave Wilbur's Rock Lab!

Dave Is definitely one of the funniest, coolest, and nicest guys I’ve ever met. I’ve been over at the rock lab for almost 3 years now and it’s always been fun. All the teachers are really nice and they’ll get you learning in no time.

Dave is the best teacher ever! He has the unique ability to combine his technical expertise with his ability to create a personal connection with students. My son is flourishing with his guitar and loves going to his lessons with Dave as his teacher. Dave and Midge are easy to work with, accommodating, and very professional. I know exactly what to expect, the billing is simple and straightforward, and scheduling/rescheduling is easy. When COVID hit and we experienced shut downs, Dave accommodated us online and when things began to re-open he offered flexibility with face-to-face and online options to accommodate our comfort level. We love Rock Lab and will be clients for years to come!

I’ve been taking guitar lessons from Dave for a few months. He truly loves what he does, and it comes through in his lessons. He has had a lot of experience teaching and playing, yet has the ability to meet you at your level. I have had so much fun learning to play, and am amazed at the progress that’s been made in a short amount of time. Dave teaches a variety of instruments, puts bands together, and I would recommend him and the rock lab to ANYONE interested in learning to rock it like its hot.

I was nervous trying to pick up an instrument in my 30s but Dave made me feel like it was no big deal. I've been taking private lessons with Dave for a year and have started the adult band class. I could not be having more fun. I am constantly growing in my playing ability and gaining confidence. Would suggest to anyone looking to learn at any age.

This is a great music school! Dave is the owner and is an amazing musician--Really one of the best! You can take private lessons and/or be in real rock band! My kids have participated in bands for several years and have had great exposure to performing and learning how to play with other musicians. It is an amazing, unique experience. They have learned so much. Great for beginners up to experienced musicians. I would highly recommend the Rock Lab to anyone! Absolutely 5 stars!!

Both my boys started Rock lab at age 6 and 9. My boys can play drums, guitar, bass and sing. My now 16 year old is playing “Freefalling” in the other room with his buddy and has started several bands. This is such a great thing for boys to get together and create music. Thank you!

we stood in the place for 45 min nobody ever helped us we could see people in the studio and they never came out. so we left a message on there phone to have them call us back. never happened. next was the email i sent to them and got no reply.
