I went recently and I really like the store. The staff is very attentive to the customer's needs. The bad thing is that the facilities are very deteriorated and the bathrooms are in very poor condition.

This is pretty self-explanatory and youâd think itâd be obvious, lol, but do not shop here without basic Spanish skills. My silly self took French in college so obviously I was very stressed when I was asking for help and didnât know how to communicate with the workers. Once again, Iâll take the blame for that one because I donât know what I was expecting there. Just be aware that to ask for locations of items, and to check out, they will ask you things in Spanish and answer in Spanish!! Shoutout to the lady behind me who got the vibes and helped me out at the register đđť
My only gripe with this store was the poor lighting, the confusing locations of items, and the CRAMPED spaces. An entire isle of spices was so cramped, you could only face one direction and it was super impossible to turn around and see the other spices behind you. The lighting was abysmal and the parking was nonexistent; once again, only one car at a time can really fit in between the spots which makes the parking lot so stressful to navigate. I parked behind another building and walked all the way to the store. I did go at a very busy time, but I think more parking would be ideal.
Now onto the pluses: cheap, cheap, cheap, with so much variety. Limes are a dollar a pound, whereas at Walmart, theyâre 50 cents each. The peppers come in a large stock and theyâre fairly cheap. The meat is straight from the butcher and pretty good quality.
Their bakery⌠god I can smell it now. Itâs the first thing that greets you when you walk in. They serve the most delectable stuff. I bought some for my boyfriend and I and he said it tasted straight out of France. Their crème is insane and their pastries are so flaky and buttery. Itâs cheap, too. Everyone in the store had a tray stocked full of baked goods. And they are fully stocked and always replenished.
About ACQUIRING them⌠this was fairly annoying and tedious, but you use tongs that hang low and near to the ground which feels kind of unsanitary. You stack them on a tray which youâre expected to hold along with all of your other groceries. You have to balance all of the goods while waiting in a long line and pray they donât fall off. Not to mention the register is about three feet away and the entrance is also pretty close, so youâre constantly bumping and shuffling around one million people.
The experience was pretty overstimulating but worth it in the end.

Bad experience of the woman who was at the checkout, she leaves the receipt and when I ask her if she has hand sanitizer, she doesn't answer me, she has an angry face and looks like she was sleepy, but she was not kind.

Very bad service, they steal from people with their dishes, they cheat on little ones, I bought a Menudo and they pulled it with the size, they don't talk, what restaurant is bad and bad service, they are not friendly and they don't greet you, they talk ala vgđđ

I like this store that has many things that they offer to their customers. The only thing they lack is education. I don't understand why the cashiers feel superior to someone who can't even say "thank you" or "have a nice day" to the people we shop there. They always have a face of fuchi... they have a very ugly and rude attitude. It's hard for them to smile.? They should practice it more before putting on makeup that is of no use to them.. Keep buying there, it won't be for pleasure, it's more because it's close to me because I can buy the same thing elsewhere and cheaper. But sometimes you go there because it's convenient.
Nothing has changed! The attitude of the cashiers remains the same, very ugly people.
The bread is terrible. It was definitely old bread and it was still bad.
