Slow service and very rude. Hung up the phone on me multiple times

As I am about to be quite critical I do want give the one good impression this place gave us. The employees were polite and seemed nice in our interactions. And while we are dissatisfied with the actual service the response time was fast especially considering our car broke down on labor day and they were looking at it on Wednesday.
When our car broke down and we had it towed to the shop based on the good reviews. We expected some sort of diagnoses or troubleshooting. They said they would call and let us know. When an employee called he stated it was a battery issue and charged us 153 dollars to clean it and disconnect a cable (that we had already disconnected) in our trunk which was stuck open from a different incident from a different time. While not happy that they had proceeded with work without telling us the cost and that we were overcharged for a simple service we decided to just move on and we picked up the car around 11 AM . At 2 PM the same day the car died in the exact same manner as it had before. They had not fixed the issue.
We called and asked them if they had a policy for events such as this. The man who answered the phone admitted that the mechanic who worked on it did not test drive it properly but instead of offering a refund he said they would give us a discount of the amount we had been charged if we brought it back in.
We do not want to bring it back in and will fix our car another way.
In short our grievances are-
1 They performed a service without asking us or giving us a price and we were overcharged.
2 They did not even fix the issue and did not even perform basic troubleshooting measures
3 Even after admitting they messed up we were not offered any sort of refund and instead they tried to get more business out of us.

In todays world of poor ethics and values it’s hard to trust experts who make money off peoples ignorance.
My wife and I have been going back to this company over and over because first and foremost we trust them.
The quality of work is exceptional and they usually get things done quickly.
The only thing I don’t like is the tight parking, but it’s a small price to pay for good mechanic.
I also wish I could have them service my truck, as I don’t have a mechanic for my truck that I trust as much as them.

I had a good experience here. I was looking for a part and showed them what I was looking for. They told me it woke something besides the $450.00 part I was looking for. The part that was needed was around $80. I trust they would be completely honest. I highly recommend them!

1000/10 would recommend this place. Nothing short of a miracle that I found this place. Pulled up to this place 2 minutes after closing and it was raining. Todd was closing up and about to leave but was soooo kind and helped me out. I went to many different places that told me it would cost an arm and a leg to replace the entire tail light because I have LED lights. Todd at Foreign aid fixed it in less than 10min! AMAZING CAR AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. COMING HERE FROM NOW ON!!!!

Best guys around! They are honest, straight to the point, and will not try to upsell you. Gunner has done all sorts of work on my Land Rover. I would not go anywhere else. As I've never had anyone be as thorough while prioritizing safety. Thanks you all.

do not take your car here! I took my car there to get the valves done so my car could pass emissions, they told me my car was ready and I came back and it wouldn’t start they had to get multiple guys out there trying to get it to start but it wouldn’t. It ran better before I took it there. A few days later I drove out there again to get it! And took it. It was having a super hard time shifting and was not as smooth. Got the car home and found out the distributor was knocked. So I fixed that myself took it to the place to try and get a waiver a week or 2 later and they said if it was at those levels it would’ve been able to pass but it wasn’t cause I fixed the thing they messed up. So they got inaccurate levels cause it wasn’t engaging with the engine right. Please don’t take your car here . They will just mess it up more than before!

As a woman finding a trustworthy mechanic seems to be just that much harder. These guys are absolutely amazing they’re up front with you and explain things very straightforward to you there’s no surprises or hidden fees. I have a 2006 Audi A3 Quattro that I needed fixed right away to get it registered. They got it in the same day I called and with the issue I was having they were able to get it out same day as well. I had a small issue I came back for and Jim was able to fix it within a minute and showed me exactly what was going on. I’ll never take my car anywhere else. Highly recommend these guys.

I highly recommend this place for honest service at great price and they are very competent. I took my Audi A4 here for a check engine light issue and they knew exactly how to fix it and made sure to examine my car throughly before the repair. This is in sharp contrast to several other shops I took my car to for the same issue that also wanted to charge twice as much. The Audi dealership wanted to charge 4x the amount this shop did. Any negative review on here has to do with parking in the parking lot by people that aren’t even customers.
