The car we rented had some issues that weren't apparent when we picked it up. Tire inflation was way off. The two passenger side tires were almost at 50 psi (inside car door said they should be 35 psi cold). The driver side front was at 25 psi and back was at 35 psi). Once we figured this out we just stopped at a gas station to equalize but I did have to buy a tire gauge (not the end of the world). On the way home at the end of our trip 6 days later the transmission started to slip on any inclines (vehicle was 2024 with 20k miles). We were still 200 miles from home so called Hertz. We were directed to stop at a major airport 150 miles away to change vehicles. This added 90 minutes to our drive home (we had already been in the car for nearly 12 hours). Overall we were disappointed and would not rent from this location again which seems to not take maintenance seriously.

Once again Hertz came through when I needed a car with short notice. The two ladies were very kind and helpful I believe Ashleigh is one the names. They make the process nice and fast. Which I hate waiting so Hertz is the way to go.

Used the online website to reserve a vehicle for a one way trip. After selecting vehicle the system switched the one way to same location rental without me noticing. I drove the vehicle 700 miles to the drop off location I had selected and they told me I could not drop it off with them. I spent the next 3 hours on the phone with Hertz and they couldn't change the reservation to a one way. Finally, I was told I needed to return the vehicle to the originating location. While driving it there a rock cracked the windshield, but I had paid for the damage waiver, so, unfortunate but no big deal. When I got my final bill I was charged for the windshield and had to call their billing office to dispute the charge. Over-all not a good experience. So far I'm out an additional $1000.00 for this rental. They are going to refund the windshield error, but that will take up to 10 more days. It didn't take them 10 days to bill my credit card. They need to refund the rest of the additional charges I incurred because they couldn't return their own vehicle to their own location.

Both times I've rented from this location, Ashley and Montana have been extremely helpful, kind, and professional.
This time, after we got royally screwed at Budget Rent-A-Car in South Orem [avoid them at all costs!!!] and attempted to be exploited - they said it was unlimited miles, but upon printing the contract and me literally in the process of signing it, I noticed a per-mile charge of 0.35 - I desperately searched for other options, as we needed specifically an electric car for a long road trip to the PNW. We would have had to cancel our trip if we couldn't find one.
Not only did Manager Ashley and clerk Montana get us a nice Tesla, but the rate was eminently reasonable, including the insurance. We got stuck in traffic on return, and they waived the extra day fees and were honestly just the most friendly, helpful, and reasonable people I've ever dealt with - especially in car rental, which can be cutthroat and dicey.
We even had a minor ding thanks to an angry barrier wall on the 101 and the process of using the LDW we purchased was the simplest I've ever dealt with anything to do with insurance.
This is the second time I've rented from them, and won't be the last.
They have made me believe in the honesty and kindness and professionalism of people again, and definitely deserve your business.

I called to get more information about my car. The person who answered the phone hung up on me and was incredibly rude. I called back and asked her why she hung up on me. She didn't even apologize. She just told me what do you need? and that it stated the question I needed to ask her. She was incredibly rude to me and told me to leave the vehicle at the shop and we will pick it up afterward.
It was the only lady that works there that answered me like that. I don't want to post her name. But you know who you are

Paid for a reservation for a vehicle for 1 pm arrived at 400pm to pick it up. I was advised that they only hold it for 2 hours and they gave it away. I told them I was not made aware of that and it was not in the email. I was then told it was in the fine print. They had no vehicles left. Poor, greedy, and unprofessional business practice. Avoid at all costs. You’ll have to call corporate to get a refund.
Edit: Got one from Enterprise at a cheaper price. Take your business there.

The pick up process was smooth and easy. New and clean car, drove fine. The problem was after the drop off. We took pictures of the car after the drop off, for security purposes. A few days later, we got an email stating that they had found damage from us on the car. We pursued the case and showed evidence of no damage on the car. After we had proven no damages, the case was closed. If possible, do all you can to avoid this place. We could have been wrapped up in a bill from damage that we hadn’t caused, if we weren’t careful. This has steered me clear from renting with Hertz ever again.

Showed up on time, they don’t have the car we rented. This is the second time we’ve rented from them and they don’t have the car here.
The interior of the “back-up” car provided us was wore out and the panel was ripped apart.
Currently waiting in the lobby for an Uber because they don’t have the car on the lot.
Save your time, save your money, don’t use Hertz.

Do not rent from hertz.
We booked it, showed up on time, they had no cars for us and couldn't cancel the reservation to give us our money back.
We had to spend tons of time on hold and with people who had no idea what they were doing to try to get the order canceled.
Do yourself a huge favor and avoid renting from hertz.

I had to wait 45 min to pick up my car - they only had one person on staff. However, she was a rockstar!!! Ashley handled everyone with class and patience. Whatever she is being paid is not enough.

I was hesitant because of the such negative reviews. But I picked up a car at this location with a reservation I made the day before. I was immediately greeted and received friendly service. Staff were very efficient, no wait, and I had my car in what seemed less than 5 minutes. Would definitely come back!
