This shop is full of treasures and gems but the owners knowledge is probably the coolest part! He can tell you everything you need to know about his gems and he specializes in opals. I love visiting Jim’s Gems and Jewelry and highly recommend visiting!

Visited Jim's in search of jewelry and was thrilled to find that he makes beautiful bolo ties with stones! He showed interest and attention to detail in helping me find my way even though I'm not particularly well-versed. Easily the most pleasant rock shop I've ever visited, and my new go-to!
Hi, I'm Jim. I started as a rock hound 50 plus years ago and immediately fell in love with the treasures Earth has to offer. In 1993 I started my rock shop and jewelry business to help pay for my out of control hobby. I run my rock, gemstone and jewelry business out of my home to keep down overhead and pass the savings to you. I enjoy making my own jewelry, plus I sell estate jewelry and like to cut my own gemstones. I have unique and very affordable jewelry, most every gemstone you can think of, beautiful natural crystals, rocks for the kids and of course my specialty, opals.
