The gal that helped me was so kind and helpful. In a couple of minutes the mat was chosen. She processed it right away and brought it to me while I shopped. That’s service! And it was done to perfection!

customer service was not so good, I asked for help to find a frame and the girl was too busy to help me. When I asked if she could help me find a frame she said they don't make them that size and that it would cost me over 500 dollars (it was an average poster size) she just didn't want to help me. I ended up finding what I needed on my own.

I just finished searching fruitlessly for 45 minutes for a wreath hanger. There was not one staff person to ask anywhere. I searched the whole store, which is beautiful BUT... there were no sales people anywhere... not even a clerk at the framing counter. So, instead of waiting in a line of 8 people to ask the checker, I went to the front of the line and quickly asked her the question. It was answered, but my line crashing irritated all the people waiting in line while I got the answer to the question. Save yourself some time and upset. Go to Hobby Lobby.

I'm sad to leave a bad review, but curbside pickup at this Orem Michaels is soooo slow. The first time I came to pick up a small order, 5 of the same item, and it literally took them 25 minutes to bring it out to me. I would go in, but I have kids in the car, so curbside pickup is preferred. I did see lots of customers come in & out of the store, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that employees were swamped. But the next time I tried curbside pickup, there were hardly any cars in the parking lot, and it still took 10 minutes for them to bring out my 1-item order. I've had other experiences with JoAnns (right next door), where they have my order out in 5 minutes or less. So if shopping for crafting materials and you're wanting curbside pickup, Michaels is second to JoAnns.
