Decent selection for a good price. Not too busy

Plato's Closet Orem overall has nice stuff to sell. Prices aren't too high and clothes are unique and fun. However, I am very unsatisfied in the management team. Both my partner, and myself, have seen and heard personal instances of employees getting treated by management and other employees with disrespect and unkindness. I am very unhappy with how the system works. Now, like I said, it is a unique and creative shop, no doubt about that.However. I will refrain from saying it is a nice shop. I hope to see changes.

A total lack of respect, I was in line to pay with my girlfriend and instead of taking care of you, all the girls who work there put on to count the clothes that came to them and they were not even able to attend to us knowing that we were there and they had seen us! A total dislocation!

We had an ok experience here. I would recommend selling your clothes at uptown cheapskate, way nicer employees & atmosphere.

The girl at the cashier was extreme rude. She had a green sweatshirt on and light colored hair half back. she had an attitude the whole time and when i asked if she could keep the clothes all she said was nope and i said excuse me? and she said nope again. then she proceeded to hand me my bags of clothes by throwing them onto the counter. she was rude and ruined my night.

Love this location, they rotate their selection often, always have a deal or promo running, employees are always willing to help, dressing rooms are clean and the store is organized. I did learn each Plato's closet is individually owned and operated so I store credit and promos don't work at all locations. But this location I feel is the best I've been to so far

The girls that work here don't know nothing. It's sad. That's why they'll stay working here. Worst Plato's. They really need to learn how to buy better. I'm not salty, I'm just sick of seeing junk that sits on the racks.

The staff girls are polite. They thoroughly explain their policies to you. The downside: unless your are selling designer clothes or accessories in exceptional condition they will not take your them. If you are selling old, ordinary clothes; this is not the place to sell them.

I sold items items here the other day and received $5 closet cash for my sell. I went and purchased a $10 jumpsuit with my store credit with my store credit that I had and my $5. I had to return this item and they said that I would only be getting back $5 because the closet cash is a “discount”? That doesn’t seem fair in any way. They need to find a different way to put this in because the other times that I haven’t used my full $5 closet cash or went to store credit anyway. I wanted to buy something but I couldn’t because I was going to rely on my store credit. So stupid and so upsetting.

I went to sell my clothes here and it was an overall terrible experience. I had 4 bins and they said it would be a two hour wait and that I had to stay in the store while they looked. I decided to take one of the bins off so I didn’t have to sit there for 2 hours. When I came back they said they didn’t want to buy any of my things. That kind of upset me when I say exact things I was giving them to sell being sold in their store and that I waited for 2 hours for nothing. When I went to a different place to donate them it infuriated me to see that most of the clothes in those three bins were still neatly folded and how I left them with Platos. They didn’t even look at the things I brought. Platos has terrible taste in clothes and are frustrating to sell with. They are cheap. Do not waste your time shopping or selling here.

Worst place don't waist your time giving them your clothes. I wish I could give a zero star. They said things were out of style or worn, but I gave them multiple Lululemon items, Abercrombie and finch, vineyard, vines and very nice clothing and nice brand, etc. I had 3 bins full of good things and they took like 8 things and only gave me $27. Super upset.

do not take your clothes there if you're trying to sell them! I brought in probably over 50 clothing items and they didn't except a single one of them because they said they had discoloration. 95% of the clothing I brought in had only been worn a couple times and had no discoloration. The clothes that they take and that they sell in that store look like they came from 2012. I'm not sure who decides what or how the process works but I was very disappointed with my interaction would not recommend taking yourself there !!!!

you can find some good deals here time to time. i sold some items to them too and got like $40 each time (2 kitchen bags). The downside is the workers attitude. I understand how hard it is to work in a retail store but it’s work. You shouldn’t get emotional whatever the customers complain at you. You come first but be professional about it. Each customer is different person so try to have a better attitude please? This place was so good few months ago but now no body seems to want to communicate with the customers.
