I want to make sure I'm clear with this review. Incredibly expensive and under experienced. 10k in panels ordered with a designer and architect involved. During multiple drawings with a fireplace in the middle not once did an architect, designer, or Soelberg question the integrity of the product next to a heat source and the product melted. Soelberg this is your job as a service and material supplier. Architect stop drawing pretty pictures and use that 11 year degree. Designer stop trying to be fancy. The day your product was delivered was the first time we (GC) actually got to see the product & material. It was basically shrink wrapped mdf and the company couldn't install it on the day they said they would putting the job in Jeopardy. Soelberg was contacted and the designer wouldn't allow the general contractor to discuss any of the issues. So we went around the designer and no calls back. Not one! It's been 12 months since you dropped off your failed product...so you failed your customer, your product failed, your install failed, you failed at returning s phone call. For that reason 1 star and I highly advise all future customers think twice before buying.

I have seen their panels in the parade of homes and I wanted to use it in the design of my front desk in my Chiropractic office. I am so excited to see how it will turn out. They have an awesome product!

We needed a replacement panel and we sent them pictures with a tape measure on the product to show the exact size and scale. They shipped us a panel that was 50% smaller than the scale we spec'd and they said it was our fault they had to GUESS at what size it was... Okay? The tape measure was exact to show what size it was. They refused to call back, the owner refused to speak to us, and they hid behind the emails. No refunds, no exchanges, no customer service. They left us high and dry. Buyer beware!

BUYER BEWARE!! I was looking online for a unique material to use as a fireplace surround. I came across Soelberg Industries Texture3D material and loved it. I called the company in April 2012 to see if it was a safe material for that particular use. I was told it was safe and was sent photos of an existing installation as a suggested design option. I sent a sketch of how I wanted to use the material and they returned CAD drawings and specs of how material would be layed out. I received the wall panels in late Dec. Before I could have panels installed, I tacked up a sample above fireplace, and within 45 minutes the material delaminated. I immediately asked the company representative if there was any history of this and he told me that the particular finish I purchased would delaminate with heat exposure. The President of the company has since denied this is true. I have asked for a refund, because it is clearly not suitable for the application it was purchased for. The company has refused to refund my purchase. I made dozens of phone calls and emails to the company, between April 2012 and my purchase in Dec. 2012, to ensure I was getting a product that would be appropriate for exact use. Never at any time was I told I needed to purchase a certain type of fireplace or that there was a risk of delamination. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I have purchased a product that I can not use and the company is refusing to take any responsibility. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Soelberg Industries.
