As a business I need to be able to get change routinely. They never have it. This North Orem branch is always slow and understaffed. It is the branch closest to my business. Going to look at moving my banking to a place that can provide service.

We were being Scammed and we went to David Heredia who was fantastic. He helped us close out our old account and set up a new one. We had some of our kids account connected to ours so he helped with closing out their accounts and getting new ones as well. He was so kind and helpful!!! Please thank him again for us!!

Used uccu since I was a kid (45 years ago) . Don't like them as much anymore, they are more "bank" and less credit union. They updated the online banking, and when I enter a comment for a money transfer (as I always do). It does not allow symbols like $ dnd %. What? I mean, first of all... Why? There is no reason to restrict that. This is banking software and does not allow banking symbols. lol

I have been a member of UCCU for about 40 years. During that time there have been 4 or 5 times I have had concerns or issues that I needed them to “fix”. They have always resolved my concerns to my complete satisfaction. I have recommended them to several other people. I’m a fan!

I highly recommend transferring to Mountain America Credit Union. The reason why I say this is because no matter how much I deposit in my accounts of the cash I have, My card is always declined everywhere I go. It makes me commit fraud, even when I clearly have enough money. The worst part is, they decide to close UCCU nearly an hour before it is scheduled to close, which is bad for those who have financial issues. As a service missionary, I think it is not good to have a declined card everywhere, have a rechanged, or new updated card that still declines no matter what, or when and where you go. They claimed to be closed literally the minute I got to the bank to resolve this issue nearly an hour before it should have actually been closed, which is kind of harsh. I strongly recommend transferring to Mountain America, where they are more patient with timing, and locks their doors 2-5 minutes before actually being closed, and have nicer service than what I faced at the doors tonight. Especially if Monday Afternoon is my only time to ever go to the bank to resolve an issue. Until this issue can be fixed in person, I will not stop transferring to MACU, which has better service, and nicer service to the guests. Whoever reads this, do you think it is good that a debit card has to be reupdated and changed 12 times a month because of chip malfunction, declined, or other errors that affect the card itself? No, and I have been a member for UCCU since almost 2 years ago, and the issue started happening nonstop since December 2022, like around the very 1st week of the month. Is this good for a member for a bank? Is this good for a Service Missionary, who always has this issue everywhere I go as a missionary? No. I hope this can be understood, sorry to sound rude. I am sorry to have sent this out, but the word has to be brought to a manager of UCCU, rather than not have an easy way to send this message at all. Thank you!

I went to Katelyn Lungren at the Orem location and she was committed to finding a way to help me. She was so kind and thoughtful and truly wanted to help me. Keagan Johnson also helped me and he was also very nice and informative. I loved working with them because of how caring and understanding they were of my situation.

This is the best branch at the best credit union. Lines can be long, but that attests to the quality of service that is given here. I recommend UCCU to everyone!

Waited for 15 mins in the drive thru teller line. I was the first in line with no one else. Nobody acknowledged me or said anything to me—and I was looking right at them. 15 mins. 15 mins! Cmon. What kind of customer service is that. Then they had the audacity to ask me to hold one for another 1 min which ended up being another 5 mins. Wow. Just wow. All to make a simple deposit. Don’t use this branch. You’ve been warned. Absolutely terrible.
