“I visited JGO in Park City last month. It's a great art gallery for anyone who likes intelligent contemporary art with a variety of themes, color, and techniques. Their upstairs display room has a comfortable ambience with cool air conditioning and good seating as well. The Director was very nice and I enjoyed it all. Because they are upstairs, look for the entry door marked 323 Main (between doors to other stores). They are across the street from the Egyptian Theatre.”

“We were not shopping. Our art budget for the year had already been blown.And darn it, we both liked a very cool ceramic piece by Debra Fritts that begged for a new home. It was so nice to meet the gallery owner Jen Schumacher who gave us tourists the red carpet treatment. She had a shipment going out that day and managed to get our piece included. It was at our house on the East Coast hand delivered in four days! Great gallery and experience.”

“I have a pretty extensive art collection -- and a significant amount of it has come from the Julie Nester Gallery. I think they are by far the best gallery in Park City and probably in the United States. They have an excellent eye for art and thoughtfully help pick pieces to add to my collection. They are delightful to work with and never pressure a sale. They are consultative and very knowledgeable about art and give excellent direction. I can't say enough about the quality of the artists they work with and the level of their service. Everyone visiting Park City should be sure to visit this amazing gallery.”

“We first visited Main Street Gallery in 2019. The gallery owner was very gracious with her time, telling us about the artists and their work. We visited again in July 2021, and Amanda didn't disappoint! She showed us several pieces in different lighting, and spoke knowledgeably and enthusiastically about each of the artists that interested us, and some that we hadn't thought to consider. The range of artists represented is outstanding and the work is exemplary. We were drawn both visits to Trey McCarley's work and on our way home, called Amanda to arrange purchase of his "Light of the Night." We were delighted to find this outstanding fine art gallery in Park City.”

“This is a great gallery. The woman whose art is exhibited is an absolutely creative genius. Plus, she is engaged in the community, hosting events and non profits. I saw her work years ago and acquired a small piece, but Larry thinks she has had a confidence boost recently and her work has advanced considerably. She has moved from her relatively photo realistic painting of aspen trees to more abstract work. Yeah, she is expensive and gallery staff has a tendency to look down their noses if you do not meet their idea of a buyer, but take a deep breath and sally forth. I do not think you will be disappointed.”

“This is such a fun store to shop in! I purchased two beautiful pieces: a ring, and a pair of earrings. Fast forward months later, when I was wearing the earrings and one hoop broke. I called up and spoke to Monty, and he sent me pictures of similar earrings, and then shipped one of them to me all without any hesitation. Amazing customer service, both in the store and after purchase. What a pleasure doing business with them. Highly recommend!”

“Despite us walking around with our 4 young kids and looking really raggedy, the curator or owner of the gallery, who knows maybe he’s a salesman treated us like we could actually afford the amazing art that was on display within. He could have easily blown us off like I’m sure any other gallery would have, but he didn’t and I was so impressed by his kindness and decency. We vacation in park city frequently and have come to expect a bit of snobbery from many locals, but not here.”
