I recently had the pleasure of working with Barclay Butera Interior Design in Park City, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with their exceptional ability to solve problems and put the customer first.Our project was substantial; a complete remodel in Promontory. Not only that, but we had a hard deadline and a firm budget. These factors added complexity to the project, and there were problems; some were substantial. But what sets Barclay Butera apart is not that there were problems (there always are in a project of our size), but rather how they handled them. They went above and beyond to address every issue and did everything they could to ensure we were happy with the final result - which we absolutely are.The design process was smooth and enjoyable. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about creating a beautiful space that met our needs and preferences. I appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to listen to and incorporate our feedback into the final design. As a result, they were able to transform our space into a beautiful and functional living area that exceeded our expectations.The design team was also top-notch. We worked with Maria, who is incredibly talented, and a revolving team of other designers and coordinators who all brought value to the project. They are personable, professional, empathetic, and easy to work with. The designs they come up with evolve through as many iterations as it takes to get it right. And even after we were "done", Maria came out to do a follow-up pass and fill in a few missing details.Overall, I would highly recommend Barclay Butera Interior Design to anyone looking for a top-notch design firm with an unwavering commitment to putting their customers first. I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey and Johanna at Barclays Butera Park City on the interior design of a 3-bedroom, 3-bath condominium I purchased for rental and family use. They had a tight deadline of about 8-9 months to get the entire unit painted, designed, furnished and fully appointed with artwork and more in time for rentals for ski season. They did a fantastic job and created a beautiful and comfortable living space with durable,high quality furnishings that met my budget. And they completed the job on time! I live out of state, so most of our interactions were by phone or virtual. We worked with the design team at Barclay Butera for the past 1.5 years to furnish our new house in Park City. They are as pleasant to work with as they are talented and professional - even through all of the "supply chain" challenges occasioned by Covid. My husband and I built two homes with Barclay Butera Interiors at the design-helm. They both came out beautifully. We worked with two different teams on each home and we were thrilled with the end results. I love the company so much that I ended up becoming the Showroom Manager two years ago when my predecessor retired after 19 dedicated years with the company. I went in for an interview for Senior Designer. There was an older lady with white hair & glasses & Mario who conducted the interview. The older lady was extremely rude & unprofessional. Im assuming she was the owner. If I was mistreated as a future employee I wouldn't want to see how the clients are treated.

My experience with Barclay Butera has been and continues to be excellent. My design team led us through a successful renovation in Park Meadows, showing up to each planning and jobsite meeting prepared and ready to create a beautiful product. The team worked well with my architect and general contractor, and the furnishings were spot on. We receive compliments from friends and family each time they visit. I am continuing to work with my team at Barclay Butera on an out-of-town project and very much look forward to the outcome. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to create a stunning, high-end home.

About 10 months ago my wife pointed out the toxic workplace culture of this company. Instead of reaching out to her to see if it could resolve issues or gain knowledge, it looks like this company decided to ask its employees and close clients to post reviews. This further validated my wife's original point: management appears toxic. If you want us to remove the one star reviews, you'll reach out to see if you can resolve the issue, not force your employees/ask clients to post arbitrary five-star reviews to protect your own behinds. Hopefully this serves as a warning to all who contract with them.

Normally Barclay Butera is a great interior design company, however this location suffers from unchecked harrassment amongst its employees. Bottom line: it is poorly managed with a toxic work culture, which affects the employees' performance and their dealings with the client as well as with companies who provide services and products to them. I wouldn't recommend making associations with them until they fix their bullying problem. The company is fully aware of the harrassment because it has gone on for years and there have been many reported incidents. However, they refuse to take any effective disciplinary action. Perhaps the management benefit too much from the bully or are bullied themselves? Either way it's best to find another interior design company for the time being. *I posted this 10 months ago (10 months prior to what google reviews says). I updated today Dec 2017 with few changes made to my review.

I wouldn't recommend this place. I have a chronic gastro-intestinal disease and was having an emergency. I asked to use their bathroom and was treated incredibly rudely. I had to explain multiple times that I have a medical issue and was even told at one point "it seems you would have planned better, then." My illness is incurable, extremely painful, and even my efforts to manage it through diet and exercise don't always work; so it is occasionally unpredictable. Not only that, but I'm on vacation so my options are even more limited than usual. It seems this place can't be bothered to treat you with humanity unless you throw money at them.

Barclay Butera has been a solid go-to for my interior design needs for years. Their showroom is always filled with the classiest, most unique pieces. I rarely look elsewhere for on trend furniture and design advice. Cameo is particularly sweet and the rest of the team is just as courteous, experienced and willing to assist you regardless of your needs. I would reccomend them to anyone one and will continue to support them in the future. Hats off, Barclay.
