I attended an event there earlier this week. From the parking attendant (who would not let me park where my group had paid to park) to the security guard (who seemed like he was looking to find problems with our group) I was very disappointed with the customer service here. There was a lack of kindness and willingness to help at all. Staff were rigid and unwilling to help. I don't recommend buying property here.

The canyons are secretly the best spot in Park City. There might be higher peaks at Park City Mountain, but the canyons have longer, less crowded slopes that go for seemingly miles. Some even wind through the houses, roads, and bridges of the condos. At the village, there are great shops for equipment as well as fantastic restaurants and bars for some apres-ski fun, especially on bright sunny days. The ride up to the base from the village is also great with awesome views from the gondola.

The Canyons has merged with Park City Mountain Resort. The two ski areas are linked by a gondola at upper elevations. The place is HUGE. The Epic ski pass is the way to go unless you only ski a few days per season.

We go snowboarding around the country and this definitely one of our favorite spots to board when the season is right. Traveler Tip: Utah is known for their light snow and the Canyons has an outstanding blend of mountain pitch and isolation from people. Whenever we go to Utah, this is where we board at. Overall: Fantastic facilities, runs, lifts, and usually a great time. I'm a fellow traveler so I appreciate when other people have given me tips/recommendations while in a new city. Skiing was great but trying to sit down and relax afterwards, not so much. I was there both New Years Eve and New Yeara day. I counted about 20 heaters that had been set all around the Apres-ski lounge area and there are 3 fire pits. For some reason,l although it was frigid, they didn't have them on. People were trying to figure out how to turn them on. I noticed that their propane tanks had been removed, so obviously they didn't want to have these heaters, heating. It was strange, since they charge 145 to ski per day, They had already spent so much money on these heaters they wouldn't use them on such a cold holiday. Disappointing and cheap.
