The team here is super knowledgeable and they have a great gear selection. I have been fitted for three different boots here and every time they fit like a glove.

Kimball Junction location:Service was good, but product lacking. I rented demos(skis)for three days, Feb 23-25. Was intending on renting 26th and 27th as well, and planning on purchasing after demoing. Christy’s had no real demos. None of the current skis were available, only two and three year old skis(not what I or most people consider demos). Contrary to information given over phone, prior to reservation.Rented my son a snowboard setup for the same time frame. Had to bring back the first day, due to binding malfunctioning. Christy’s replaced the binding only to have it become so loose the next day it became a safety issue and had to visit ski patrol at top of mountain for tool to tighten. Two of three days issues with snowboard bindings. Of course no compensation for continued equipment problems on 2 of the 3 rental days.Most likely will never use Christy’s sport again. They definitely lost the sale of new skis and bindings.WOW! This is how Customer Service is done. I’ve been in the Customer Service business for over 35 years and it couldn’t have been handled better. Absolutely the best. I was contacted the following day by the store manager Reed, at Christy’s Sports. Discussed our experience, provided a solution that was beyond anything expected. I can’t say more positive things about this experience. Christy’s Sports has regained a customer for life. Can’t be beat.Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.WOW! Thanks again Reed!

Went in to buy skis and boots at the landmark store. Selection is awesome. However if you’re looking to be a serious buyer, spend your money somewhere else. We waited for 10-15 minutes to get help. Finally had to ask. Was told the older gentlemen walking around with the dog was the person to speak to. He said we needed at least an hour to purchase boots and that they were closing in 30 minutes so come back another time. We’re locals. We’re experienced in buying boots. We knew what we wanted. It rarely takes us longer than 30 minutes. I see on other reviews other customers have reported similar issues. Too bad you don’t fix it. You’re losing money in sales. I won’t recommend this store to friends and visitor looking for equipment. Taking my business elsewhere tomorrow.

To describe the experience I had at Christy Sport in Kimball Junction would be like trying to describe the nostalgic flavors of a favorite childhood dish. Of course, for me, the memory and flavor is all there but to try to recreate that with a verbal description to someone who may not know the dish, is impossible. This is why I believe everyone should go to the Christy Sport in Kimball Junction, because to put into words the way they were able to help me isn't something that should just be said, it should be experienced. I was helped by a handsome young man by the name of Will that took me under his wing like a baby bird being pushed to fly by their mother for the first time. I had brought two pairs of skis in, one to be mounted and another to be remounted and was nervous since these were expensive skis that I did not want to have messed up. Will quickly soothed my nervous in a way that felt like a sweet ski lullaby with visions of how -1.5 back on my skis would be the perfect placement to fully feel the performance in every turn. He showed me with respect and patience how we would remount my other skis while he kept the structural integrity of the ski together. As time past my confidence and admiration for Will grew with every hole he drilled into my sweet babies. Without Will to hold my hand through this experience I don't think I would have ever been able to work of the courage to get these skis mounted. The entire team not only supported me through this experience but lifted it as well as every one of them was just as knowledgable as Will was. I now have two pairs of skis that I will cherish for as long as I have them and have Will to thank for that. Not a day will go by where I don't clip into either pair and not think of Will, his mustache, or his deep knowledge of skis. I wouldn't bring my skis to be mounted anywhere else and can't wait to see my mother bird again some day.

The man who waited on me was rude and when I went back the next day to get different skis as I felt they were too heavy he told me I should have done more squats !!!! Obviously not professional the skis were not in good condition. I have rented from Christy's in other cities with no trouble but this one in Park City was not good

I had a great experience getting fitted for snowboard boots at Kimball Junction. Had to go back to get boots better fitted after 1 day out on the mountain, and Caleb was a huge help. Overall the Customer service and professional advice was excellent and much appreciated. Thank you!

Rental equipment is fine but customer service at this location is severely lacking. I've rented at Christy's half a dozen times in Colorado, Montana and New Mexico and never encountered such unfriendly, unhelpful people working the rental counter (with the exception of one younger guy working there who was nice). It's almost as if they don't want customers. ? And definitely don't bring your kids here... On the plus side, their selection of snow gear is nice.

Easy to rent decent ski equipment; employees great at ensuring a good fit. The best part is they have five shops and you can return the equipment to the closest store (Park City, Deer Valley, Snowbird, Salt Lake City, or Kimball). The Christy Sports shop at Snowbird is actually in the Snowbird Ski Resort (quite convenient).
