The perfect little spot for a gift for you or them. Well curated, quality goods. And super kind staff too. Best spot I have found in all of Utah!

What a hip cool store! I love the California inspired Park city vibes. I can’t believe how down to earth and helpful the customer service is every time I go in… This is the best place for local goods and gifts. It’s a must stop on your stroll on Main St.

Stopped in wanting to grab a few things with my husband and toddler son. Immediately upon entering we were greeted with "due to capacity restrictions, we don't allow strollers". We were the only customers in the store, but fine, rules are rules. I sent my husband off with the stroller and I entered to shop. The lady working said "sorry, it's just a capacity thing.." to which I responded "I think that's a weird rule, but it's fine", intending to finish the conversation and grab my items. But the worker felt compelled to continue with "sorry, I can tell you don't understand." That was the first time I've had my intelligence insulted at a retail store for following the rules, but I was appalled!Whoever was working around 1:00 pm on April 10, 2021 was rude, condescending and ignorant. I would urge anyone to avoid this store. Absolutely awful customer service.

If you're into white, minimalist items, with a bit of a Scandinavian twist, Park City Mercantile is for you. I stumbled onto this shop while bumming around Park City. The adorbs exterior drew me inside, which includes walls lined with shelves of goodies. Home goods. Candles. Purses. Servingware. Kitchenware. Jewelry. Blankets. Toiletry items. Other odds and ends. You may not need these items, but they look dern cool. As you can imagine, many of these items are a bit on the expensive side, but there are more affordable treats to be found. In particular, I bought a black woven clutch for roughly $35. There are some additional items in the small shop space in the back, so don't forget to look there to. The clerk was attentive and accommodating. Park City Mercantile is worth a look while you're in town.

Dreams of a good, clean, simple life are easy to make and hard to live out. Having few things, but loving each possession and having a home and a use for it, now that's the kind of lifestyle I aspire to. I have often spoken of my love for thrift and vintage things, which flows stronger than ever in me. In fact, I have had these thoughts and feelings even stronger in the last few months than ever before. These thoughts of the lovely vintage life swirl around all the time. But I also have an affinity for the good, durable, interesting, useful possessions and I think that's what Park City Mercantile is really doing here. Oh, there are some gift-y type items as well, but even those (the Man Hands tin with fingernail clippers, etc. inside) are useful and could loosely be categorized under things you might find from an outfitter. Brass kettles, a sturdy thermos, and a mason jar cocktail set. Interesting, useful, mindful products. And my favorite, the wood-handled toothbrushes. Want. And even though it's all new and curated from all over, it has that vintage feel of quality goods before everything was made to be disposable. Like an old mercantile shop in the early days of the west. So, with the vintage and simple life I so very much want on my mind today as I made a quick trip up Park City Main Street, I was even more resolute on what I want and how I hope I'll get there. Sometimes it's not entirely up to us, but I'll be well stocked with a wood-handled toothbrush on my way.
