Dr. Clawson and the whole team at Powder Paws are exceptional. We are very particular, protective dog moms and feel like our girls are in such good hands here. The staff truly care about the animals and are very patient, friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. They are honest and fair about the different types of tests and procedures our dogs may need, and present options to us, empowering us to choose, with education on each option. We absolutely love it here. Warm, wonderful people!

This is the best Vet clinic in the Salt Lake/Park City area. Mostly due to Dr. Clawson and her staff, she has to be the best vet in Utah. We commute from North Salt Lake just so she can treat our dog. The service is always friendly and with appointments you never have to wait. I would recommend this clinic to everyone. You can see the passion for treating animals that everyone that works there has from the moment you enter the building. It is really nice to feel like not just another number or customer, they always make you and your pet feel at home and heard.

Had another great visit with Dr. Blum and Ashley, who know just how to handle my sometimes furball of anxiety. Thank you for your patience and wonderful care!

Dr. Z and all the staff are truly wonderful. After being disappointed with previous vets clinics, I found Powder Paws and have been really happy. Friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.

Since dogs are our thing these days and have been for 20 years. I can only comment on the dog side of the house. We started coming to powder paws because the other vet that we were taking our two beautiful Boston Terriers to was purchased by a new owner and we don't think the care there has been nearly as good as when it was a private veterinary place. One thing I noticed right away when we first went to Powder Paws was their surgical suites, which were so clean and so well stocked that I could easily allow myself to go ahead and get some hip replacements there. The staff has always been incredibly friendly and has always been. Here to help us, no matter what sort of problem we've been having. With our puppies. Both of our dogs are need specialized care. And these folks? Looked at both of them when they came in and said no problems, we have you and that takes a great load off our minds because we love those dogs like our kids. They knew exactly what sort of. Changes to making their diet, how to offer them physical therapy, and we did all kinds of things, including acupuncture, which was kind of interesting and seemed to work a little bit. I was impressed with that. The. The place is quite expensive, as one would expect for Park City and all the designer dogs that live up here. But I think it is well worth it. The place is clean, impeccably maintained and the staff is well trained and and. Very knowledgeable in their business. I would not hesitate to recommend that anybody go there.

The best vet we’ve ever gone to. Dr Clawson is our primary vet, but every single person who works here is kind, helpful, and genuinely cares. My dog has complex medical needs and they go above and beyond for us. They’ve been able to squeeze us in for emergency visits during business hours and always helpful with med refills and emailed non-urgent questions. Cant recommend or thank this team enough!

The team at Powder Paws is the very very best for your pet. They took amazing care of my many Bassets and cats over the years. I recently moved from Utah and miss this wonderful team. Thank you for all the kindness and for your tremendous skill.

As not one to write reviews this is my the first google review. I have been using Powder Paws for 8 years. I have also worked for and with multiple Veterinarian's in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. I Have had pets my entire life. Dr. Blum is one of my favorite Veterinarians I have had taken care of my pets. However, this review is about policy and those who promote them. When confirming policy promotion repentances are the key clues. One may request a Dental exam and one may insist a Dental exam. When what should be a simple dental cleaning outweighs/costs more than the simple skin tags to be removed, one may question. When this happens with only one Dr. repeatedly and not Dr. Blum, one is to question why?Clean your Dogs Teath on your own if possible, and request Dr. Blum.FYI - if you complain, they email your wife!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and every single person who works there. No matter how busy they are, they’re always so patient and caring. My dog actually gets excited to go in to get loved on even after getting neutered there. Appreciate their staff so so much.

I can’t say enough good things about the Doctors and staff at Powder Paws, whether Dr. Robson, Dr. Clawson, or Dr. Blum, etc….The care they provide has always been outstanding and sincerely compassionate. We recently had to say goodbye to our 15 and 1/2 YO Shih Tzu, Milani. While our grief is overwhelming, the concern and love Powders Paws has shown during and since her passing has been incredible….beyond proper words to describe. While the grief will never fully abate, the love and compassion shown by Powder Paws will also never be forgotten.

We’ve been taking our whole menagerie to Powder Paws for years and they’ve been our favorite vet in the SLC/Park City area. Their staff are all courteous and caring and treat our pets like family.

As part-time residents since 2019 who had not yet established local veterinary care, we were in a bind when our 5yo Lab suffered an apparent orthopedic injury causing him enough pain to turn away food (which never happens with our gluttonous Gus). Powder Paws quickly accommodated us, obtained medical records from TX, performed an exam, took radiographs, and allayed our fears of broken bones or torn ligaments. Dr. Kirkpatrick sent us home with prescriptions for rest and pain medicines (and immediately emailed copies of images for our files). And thankfully all is now well! We have a bit of PTSD due to a harrowing veterinary orthopedic surgery experience with a different dog, so we were slow to forge a relationship with a local practice. We are glad to have now done so with Powder Paws. Thank you for the terrific care... and for so effectively communicating to my husband the need for portion control with Gus--which I say with the utmost sincerity, because he is finally mindful of it!

Great service, Mon 16 May during an initial visit for me while I filled in for owner of one of their dog clients. Friendly, engaging staff in general. Particular Kudo for Chamgerlain(?) for patient assist to set up an account and make arrangements as well with needed online pharmacy. She is apparently the local office IT guru :)
