When I now open the boxes that were packed and moved by Wasatch Transfer and Storage, I expect to see broken and damaged items. We moved across country a couple of weeks ago, and this has been the absolute worst experience my family and I have ever had with a moving company. DO NOT use this company! I will post more photos because pictures don’t lie. The list of damaged and broken items is ridiculously long. I am angry and so heartbroken about the cherished items that were broken that cannot be replaced.

I am a general contractor that regularly does remodel and restoration work in the Park City area. I hired Wasatch Transfer to pack up a house for one of our clients and re locate the furniture in the areas we were not doing work. The day of the packing they showed up and did a wonderful job getting everything boxed up and put away. I was very pleased. The owner was onsite and gave me his card and told me to call him personally when we were ready to move everything back in. I thanked him and complemented him again on the wonderful job he and his staff did.Fast forward three months. We are nearing completion of the project, on schedule as promised to our homeowners. Three weeks before completion, I call up the owner and schedule his crew for a specific date to inbox the house and move all the furniture back in to place. The date was decided and the owners notified so they could schedule their flights in from out of state and plan to be at the house to assist the movers in the unboxing and placement of their homes items.The week before the unpack date, I call to confirm….crickets. I tried numerous times and left voicemails with the owner and nothing. The day before the scheduled unpack date, I am amble to speak with a nice woman in the office and she confirms my worst nightmare, the move is not scheduled. She tells me she will call the owner and call me back. She calls back about 15 minutes later and informs me there is nothing she can do and the earliest she can get me on the schedule is 8 days later. I inform her that the date was made three weeks in advance and the owner flew in to town especially for the move in date. Again she says there is nothing she can do. When I ask for the owner to call, she says she’ll ask him to and apologizes again. It’s been 24 hours, my clients are in town and I still have had no call from the owner. I have been left scrambling to find another mover.I wanted to recommend this company and count on them as trade partner for future events but am thoroughly disappointed in their unprofessional attitude and unwillingness to correct their scheduling mistake. As such, I cannot recommend anyone use their services.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. The scheduler Hayes, was prompt in getting back to me and making sure I was on the schedule and quickly found a time that would work for me. Both strong moving men were so respectful and very careful not only in moving the heavy antique furniture for me, but making sure that everything was in just the right place in my home. Ok, a business like this gets reviews on the negatives, but when things go right nobody comments. I understand there can be complications when it comes to storage and coordination. My experience with them has been outstanding. In fact, I drove a load to be stored at their units this past weekend and we worked with Kevin. Kevin was very responsive, easy, and agreed to meet me on Saturday, which happened to be his day off. He happily helped me unload our truck and assured me our items will be taken care off. In addition, he gave me a short tour of the unit and I was impressed with their organization and care of the items they have received. In addition, our interior designer has used these guys many times before and have had very positive experience.

I've made cross country moves 5 times in 7 years. I've worked with 5 moving companies and NEVER have had such a bad experience. 1 star is far too many for this HORRIBLE company. BUYER BEWARE!! I hired WT&S while living in Charlotte, NC to help us in Utah. I had an entire house hold of new furniture and goods sent to their warehouse over 6 months while we were building our new home. I payed them to receive and inspect the condition of all deliveries as well as store them until move in day. Besides finding one of the guys sleeping on the floor upstairs, most of the movers were polite, thus 1 star. Kevin, the warehouse guy, very polite, helpful and professional. A very expensive custom coffee table was delivered on move in day broken. My designer ordered a replacement table to WT&S during which time we we're getting the run around from Bryan Fox, & no return call from the owner, Hayes Wood. After MANY phone and email attempt still no clear answers as to when we were getting reimbursed for table #1. Table #2 arrives free of damage at WT&S, but delivered broken again! Two $2500 tables delivered in perfect condition to their warehouse, but arrived at my home broken. Hmmmm. it's not rocket science. H. Wood wouldn't speak with me, but his sidekick B Fox mentions that they could only reimburse us $100 per item per their contract. HELLO...... Neither my designer nor myself were EVER given a contract when we hired them and certainly NEVER signed one!!!!!!! They also broke several boxes of dishes. I was told to return them to Crate & Barrel and they would replace the items. How is it C&B's problem, WT&S broke them!. Also, 2 custom order beds from RH were damaged on move in and had to be replaced. RH has great customer service and sent new ones immediately. Again, not RH's problem to replace. The two beds arrived without any damage to the warehouse. By the way, WT&S doesn't deserve a contract with RH. The bottom line, I'm in small claims court right now trying to get the $$ owed to me by WT&S. H Wood has been a no show twice. (consistent with the number of tables he's broken) NICE... NOT SOMEONE THAT DESERVES YOUR BUSINESS!!! DON'T HIRE THEM!!!!

One star is too much to give them. My wife and I wished that we had done some further research and read some of the cautionary reviews on yelp before hiring them. Their workers were sloppy and careless about the way they handled our furniture and personal possessions. We felt they did not respect our belongings. There were items which were, missing, lost, damaged and handled poorly. We also stored items with them at their storage facility for awhile. That was a big mistake as well. The company would not take any responsibility or give us any compensation or replacement. We would never use them again!!! Anyone who does, does so at their own peril.

THIS COMPANY STOLE TWO OF MY BOXES! I wish I could give them negative stars. They delivered me some Restoration Hardware furniture (they are their SLC delivery company), the two delivery boys said they would return two boxes to Restoration Hardware for me (already taped, labeled and ready to go... just saving me the trip to UPS). RH never received the boxes!! One box had all my return information inside so this company had to have stolen them (or the delivery boys) as Restora

They delivered me some Restoration Hardware furniture (they are their SLC delivery company), the two delivery boys said they would return two boxes to Restoration Hardware for me (already taped, labeled and ready to go... just saving me the trip to UPS). RH never received the boxes!! One box had all my return information inside so this company had to have stolen them (or the delivery boys) as Restoration Hardware said they investigated and said they received no information coming from this "Transfer" company that two boxes should even be received. DO NOT TRUST this company with your items. I've tried calling this company and they don't return messages.
