This place is dirty, has cheap furnishings, and the hot water system is broken. The town of Parowan also has nothing to do. It's owned by Mountain Capital Partners which aims to squeeze as much money out of their staff and partners as possible with no regard for creating a good experience.

Seamless, professional, friendly check in process -
Dated room (mostly paint) with filthy carpet and flooring, grounds are in desperate need of TLC with debris, crumbling cement and pathways, old advertising flags blown over, long term residents with reactive dogs, thorns everywhere.
Room was well stocked, had fridge and microwave, comfortable bed (pillows not so much), no coffee pot.
Shower curtains dirty as well as bathroom floor and base of toilet.
I would not stay here again- I was expecting better based on reviews- step below Motel 6.

Absolutely brutal stay. There are at least 50 flies in the room, buzzing all over the place. There is no hot water. The hot tub heater wasn't working, so it was just a tub. The air conditioners are so old that they rattle when activated, so you are watching TV listening to a jet engine from the room next door. The swipe cards didn't work, so the front desk had to let us in if we left the room for. The sink is backed up. This is like an 80s travel comedy but it's real life. I would rather sleep under a bridge next to the interstate than stay in this embarrassing hellhole again.

Parowan? Never heard of it. We stayed here on our trip from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City. The rooms are unusually brightly lit. Only at second glance do you notice the many loving details. No other 2* motel for €49 offers such harmonious decor, which extends all the way to the lobby.
Rooms: Good lighting ambience. Lots of details, information, decoration. Bathroom items.
Food and drinks: No breakfast but free coffee. The attached restaurant gives a 10% discount for guests.

Clean rooms. Lovingly furnished.
Unfortunately, the coffee is undrinkable.
Otherwise, 100% recommended.
Always worth a visit.

Sheets were clean. Carpets needed to be cleaned/replaced. It's kind of motel-like. Entrances to rooms are from outside. No breakfast. Has shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower. No coffee makers if that is important to you. Outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. If you need to check in after 10 pm, you need to call and they leave your room key behind the do not disturb sign on your door. Could be a safety issue. Price is low. Only 20 minutes from Cedar City.

The motel was decent for a place to sleep and regroup. I was a little disappointed in the indoor pool. It was honestly pretty dirty, unkept and a LOT of bugs/spiderwebs. The pool area could benefit from some cleaning, updated seating and maybe a pest control visit. The pool, in my opinion, is actually a perfect size for families with children (5 years old+) staying for a weekend. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub as well.
The room was very clean and it was nice having a fridge/microwave since there isn’t a lot of eating options open later than 9pm surrounding the motel. I will say the shower was pretty pathetic..the water pressure was a trickle and the temperature never reached even lukewarm. The A/C worked well but it was pretty old and very loud. Luckily we can sleep through a lot, our five year old never woke up from the noise. The television was nice with loads of channels (including Disney!) and clear reception. It would be nice to have access to login to our streaming services but the unexpected good/clear reception made up for that instantly! The room we stayed in was non-smoking and we have children so we were hoping that the section of the motel we were in was a non-smoking but the two mornings we came outside for a little bit there was a gentleman smoking outside his door right next to us which the smell ended up drafting into our room. They have a good place located a short distance away with outside tables and chairs that would have been perfect for smokers but it wasn’t very enforced; which we do understand it’s hard to be keeping tabs on that.
Bring bottled water or go across the street and grab some at the market. I’m not personally a tap water person but I can tolerate it but the tap had a strong metallic taste.
I do recommend if you are planning a trip to Bryce Canyon, know that it is about 1.5 hour drive from the motel to the visitor center.
Overall I have this place three stars simply because of the clean rooms, very accommodating and kind staff and it was very nice having a small grocery store literally across the street. Keep in mind that Parowan is quite a small town but the motel did surpass my expectations in a good way. I will stay here again if we pass through another time.
Rooms: Ours was clean and well kept. The shower was pretty bad. Extra low water pressure and didn’t even get lukewarm. Loved having a fridge/freezer. The television was good, clear and great reception. There isn’t an option to login to streaming services BUT they do have access to loads of channels; including the Disney channel which our son loved the Bluey marathon! The A/C worked great however it is old and pretty noisy. If you are light sleepers it will wake you up pretty consistently.
Walkability: There is a grocery store directly across the street which was nice, a restaurant inside the motel lobby and another handful of small town places to eat within a 2-5 minute walk from the motel. It is on the only main road that goes through the town so, for a tiny town, it was considered a busy street just keep that in mind when walking with little ones.

Dean is a character, in the restaurant. This is a great restaurant with home made food, good portions, and great food. The prices are the lowest in town. I haven't seen the rooms. You have to try them out.

I stayed at the Mountain View Lodge the last couple of days. The rooms were wonderful, real nice and clean no glasses though no coffee maker. The front office didn’t open until 9 o’clock in the morning. I’m not sure what time it closed. The area outside by the pool looks really nice on the photos, but it was not kept up or kept clean Spiderwebs and bird poop was everywhere. I didn’t try the pool, but it did look nice and clean the field around it. It was hard to take my dog for a walk at the hotel because the field had nothing but stickers in it and she did bleed on the quilt the first night we were there from all the stickers which I really felt bad about
Rooms: Nice and clean.
Walkability: Wasn’t too easy to walk anywhere there was a pizza place and the grocery store within walking distance nowhere really to walk my dog.
Food and drinks: There wasn’t any food or drink that I’m aware of no coffee machines in the rooms. They did have a refrigerator and a microwave. No glasses to drink from but the rooms were very clean and they were nice. Front office did not open until 9:00 AM. I don’t know what time it closed, which I found very strange.
Noteworthy details: Not real convenient for walking, pets, or kids for that matter stickers everywhere the sidewalks are not kept up around the hotel, which is not the hotel responsibility, but their neighbors and they were hard to maneuver through because of the overgrown weeds and grass and sticker bushes. The field by the hotel would’ve been nice to let the dog run in, but the 1st night his paws were covered in stickers. He wasn’t real happy about that.

Everything was great, room clean, bed comfortable, hot water with great pressure level. Absolutely quiet at night (except for ac, that was old and noisy, but worked ok). There was fridge and microwave on the room, no appliances for coffee or tee. There is free simple breakfast on Friday-Sunday. Thank you Maintain View Lodge, awesome value for money!

Booked this motel because it said breakfast and pool. The pool was closed before close time, and there was no breakfast, only on weekends.
The room was nice.
