This is a great vet clinic. I drive 40min each way because they are worth it. I’ve tried other clinics that are closer to me, and they are awful. Payson family vet has been amazing! Their staff is awesome and they always take fantastic care of my dog. I highly recommend them!

I love this place. All of my furr babies get the most upstanding and newest care they need. Many doctors are at this location and all I've used are awesome. Dr Fillerup is my youngest hero. He saved his live from parvo and now 1.5 years later pancreatitis. Staff cares alot.

The service at this pet hospital was good, albeit a long wait. The staff were very kind and caring and seemed very knowledgeable. My only downside with them would be their prices. Pretty expensive! For a cheaper option go to Gunnison Valley Animal Clinic - even though it is further away and quite a drive from Utah Valley, it was still less expensive even after the cost of gas.

I was able to get a same day appointment for my dog. They were able to squeeze her in last minute. The vet tech was amazing and even let my daughter listen to our dog's heart and give her treats. They made a scary experience much more bearable. The services were also affordable.

Called there are 5 lady’s at desk , it said push 1 for emergency since it was !! No answer rang forever , when you’re under stress and your little Yorkie just swallowed a FISH HOOK it is pretty scary !! Just was disappointed I’ve been going here forever , there was no apology and all the lady at front desk was worried about was telling me there was a 200 doll emergency cost !! Not even asking is our little Yorkie was ok ??!! I don’t care to go bank here anymore , and everytime you call they answer and then say can you hold ????? And it’s too bad cause most drs here especially Jack fillerup are amazing but lady’s at front desk could use some compassion !!!!

Our elderly dog was brought in for euthanasia. He had a severe nasal infection and rotten teeth. The gave him a shot to put him to sleep and he started to suffocate. They then gave him the kill shot and he cried . Butchers.

I’ve always had great experiences here. They’ve always done an amazing job with both of my girls and their different personalities during their routine checkups.
This last week though I’ve developed an even greater appreciation for the vets and staff that work here. We watched one of our girls go from a little off to lethargic and extremely sick. We brought her in and she was hospitalized. They were amazing in her care! Dr. Ipsen was the emergency vet that handled her intake and surgery and I will be forever grateful for him.
The doctors, techs, and receptionists were understanding and answered all of our questions, never got annoyed by our visiting her or our calls, but what really got me was how they treated/cared for my girl and how she reacted to them. We were sitting out on the grass with her and when Dr Ipsen stopped by briefly, she went right to him for pets. She’d also willingly go with the techs back to her kennel. I walked with her twice and both times at least one person called her name. Her behavior with them before was at best standoffish and hesitant.
Would/will absolutely recommend Payson Family Pet Hospital to anyone who is looking for a place to bring their beloved pets.

The staff here is wonderful! All our pets love coming here. They know that little furbabies are family and all take extra special care. Sometimes you do have to wait for awhile because they were behind. BUT, they also don't rush you when it's your turn. That's what I like, that they truly care.

The vet techs that we met with on Gracie’s (my 4 month old Ragdoll kitten) last 2 visits were so awesome! They were both very kind and patient, answered all the questions I had about Gracie, and helped me with the anxiety I had about getting Gracie spayed. They were both very gentle when handling Gracie and made her first vet visits a positive experience for both of us! Thank you so much! I have been coming to Payson Family Pet Hospital for several years now—first with my daughter’s service dog, then with her 2 kittens, and now with my own sweet kitten. Every interaction I have had with the hospital, the veterinarians, the vet techs, and other staff members has exceeded my expectations. They clearly love what they do and it shows in the way they care for the pets we love! :)

The emergency doctor on staff today was amazing. The tech and vet did a thorough exam and loved our dog as their own. Thank you so much to the staff today for treating our dog and calming our fears.

Each vet we have seen at PFPH over the past 8 or so years is helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They also don't seem rushed and their support staff has these same traits. I originally switched to PFPH because the other vets we used in the past had such extraordinary high cost of pet dental care. At PFPH we pay roughly half of what we have paid at other vet offices and the service is far superior.
