Von Baer Park is a shady nature park and a technical disc golf course with lots of trees, elevation changes, and a fast-moving stream. It is considered one of the better courses in the valley, featuring nice tee pads, signs, and two tee pads and baskets on every hole. The facility is clean, well-manicured, and relaxed with a covered picnic pavilion and restrooms. It is easily accessible. However, the course gets muddy quickly, which may lead to erosion, and it is not recommended for beginners due to extreme consequences for bad throws. The park has no playground and can have vicious mosquitos.

Disc Golf Only: I'd give it 4 stars because I think it is one of the better courses in the valley. However, it gets really muddy really quick on the course and I think we will see a lot of erosion issues within just a few years. They need to invest a little more money into this park to keep it around for many years to come
