Brought my car here, thought I blew my transmission so it was definitely a stressful time but they took my car last minute, did a clear inspection and got me everything I needed to have myself back in the road! I had to get a lot of work done on my car and they were great. Their service is pretty fast. The staff were all very friendly. They took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem. They sent me a link with the results of the diagnostics with videos and explanations of each issue and the cost. I was able to take my time to consider everything and approve or deny each service. I appreciated the transparency, especially because it was an expensive repair. My car has been doing great the last few months.

My car needed an oil change. I made an appointment and the work was done quickly and I am grateful for the checks that are made to see if anything else needs attention. Previously I had a power steering leak fixed and was happy with that too.

Just needed a quick VIN inspection and emissions test for registration, everyone was very helpful in facilitating that process! I mentioned my car had a salvage title, and they even made sure to get the safety inspection done as well, something I didn't even know I needed. Everyone was very friendly and it was easy to set an appointment. Thanks!

Went to get an emissions test and register my car. The staff were super fast and friendly, and they don’t charge an extra fee for the sticker that goes on the plate. I don’t think I’ll be go anywhere else from now on👍

The positive is that they’re all cordial people. They’re also decently prompt in responding to your calls. The negative experience had to do with their diagnostic process. I brought my car in because it was presenting a rough idle. Having an OBD device and having another mechanic who had looked at it, I was pretty aware the problem was likely my torque converter. When I dropped off my car, I specifically mentioned that this was something I wanted checked, as my OBD device was also reporting a 51% engine load at idle. After their diagnosis, they determined that the issue had to do with the intake manifold. I shelled out $1000 for the repair (including the diagnosis), and they told me when I picked it up that the rough idle was gone. I got maybe 100 feet up the road, and this clearly wasn’t the case. When I called, they insisted they had fixed AN issue, even though it was clear they hadn’t fixed THE issue I specifically brought in to get fixed.
If I hadn’t SPECIFICALLY requested they examine the torque converter, I wouldn’t completely fault them for missing it in their diagnosis. Their lack of thoroughness ultimately cost me $1000 on a car I’m now just going to sell. Just a frustrating result that should’ve been completely avoidable had they listened and been more attentive to a specific request I made at the beginning of the process.

Took my vehicle in to get the windshield washer hoses fixed and they were quick, professional, and actually able to get the job done plus an engine air filter for about half my original quote. They inspected the vehicle, sent me the findings and asked me what, if any, I wanted to get repaired. I will only bring my car to them from now on because I know they're honest and will not scare you into repairs.

They got me into an appt in 5 minutes and were done in less than 20 for my emissions and registration. Super friendly and helpful staff!

This place is scam, stay away for your own sake!! I took my car in and needed my plate lights done, I knew the issue was not the bulb replacement.
They offered to do diagnostics and charged me $172 for it. After leaving my car from early morning till 3 pm, they called to let me know they need an extra hr to remove bumper and follow the wiring. They said that'll cost an extra $172, I declined and went to get my car...still had to pay the $172 for no job done! They also didn't replace my rear vehicle inside cover they took off, just left it thrown inside! I feel horrible that as a single mother my hard earned money is robbed of me just like that!!
Real talk, I found a shop that got this job done for only $50! They said this was an easy fix that I shouldn't have paid any more than $100. There are genuine auto shops and mechanics out there, Clegg Auto isn't one of them unfortunately!
