my wife went with action cause they had great reviews ..while going through the process they quoted us less than 1k ..seemed good but when things got compicated and I wanted clarification instead of having good customer service they hung up on me ... durring the process they increased the quote to 5k then 7k then down to 6.5k.. we never agreed on the work when they increased the price until we had funding but they still did some work and charged us for it .... they are not ba

They are absolutely HORRIBLE. We replaced a transmission with them, and purchased the warranty for any future issues related to the replaced transmission. After two months of driving the vehicle the transmission failed and when we went to them to have it looked at they keep giving us the run around on getting it repaired and even went as far as sending us to the dealership to get a diagnostics ran, which showed it is the transmission, not the transmission control module, they say is the issue. Numerous conversations have been had with Mike and still nothing has been resolved after 4 months now. They are terribly unethical people, they don't stand behind the work they do and if something does happen they make up excuses to what else could be wrong, anything to avoid taking responsibility. AVOID THEM, they are not worth the time and money you will put into trying to sort out each lie they tell you.

If you ever need work done on your car, the only place you should be taking it is to Action Transmissions in Provo. We have worked with them extensively over the last three years and they have always taken extremely good care of us! They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right! They are like family to us!
