They didn't want to damage my 8x8 brackets because I hadn't bought all the material with them for what I was doing when I didn't use their wood so I'm doing the posts if I bought them from them and they arrived bruised from the corners

Great business to work with. The sales guys were very helpful and great to work with. My experience was much better than I would of had at a box store, parts were there in a day or two and they arranged a 7 hour round trip delivery for me. I highly recommend them.

I've had a 4.5-star experience with Fence & Deck Supply, so am rounding it up. When I initially went in last fall to learn about decking and framing options, Chris explained everything really well and put together a quote based on my drawing. When I had to redo my plans to keep my deck in budget, he did a new quote and gave me good advice to pass on to my builder. My builder was a little off in figuring how much material we would need, so I ended up returning some pieces and ordering more. It was great that they picked up my return pieces with the second delivery.I'm docking them half a star for some tiny mistakes along the way: pulling the wrong color screw to deliver, initially listing the wrong color decking on one piece of the sales order...little things. But I caused my own pieces of headache for them, too. They were great to work through all the little adjustments. I've run into the same little issues placing orders with big box stores too, and I'm happy to work with and support a small, local business. Thank you to everyone at F&DS!
