So good. All of it. Prefer the bowls and hot pots over the sushi burritos.

This was a great first hot pot experience. The selection was fantastic. We were a little weary about the meatballs (prawn, etc.), but they ended up being my favorite part. The ice cream was a welcome treat between spicy broth batches. My only regret was that in doing the hot pot, I didn't get to try the sushi burritos or the curry entree. Guess we'll have to go back and try them! Jayden was also very kind and we felt like he was excited/ enjoyed interacting with us. We loved feeling valued like regulars on our first visit.

This is a very fun restaurant! They have a lot of regular offerings, but they're specialty is hot pot. You order a broth base that they put in a bowl and the table has a heating element to it that boils the soup. You add in whatever you want and make your own type of soup. They have a lot of interesting offerings. I was not a big fan of the meatballs as the texture was a little too chewy for me, but the flavor was fantastic. Everything else was absolutely delicious. The dumplings were some of the most delicious we've had. Many traditional offerings to put into your soup. I highly recommend it. If you bring children, you will have to watch them carefully as the soup gets hot and you wouldn't want your kid to burn themselves. The service was fantastic and they give you individualized attention. The chef even sent out some special offerings as we had gone for my husband's birthday.

Food and experience is good. The main issue I had was that there isn't any ventilation above the tables so the room becomes incredibly humid. The windows steam up and it feels like a sauna. They do use a carpet fan but it doesn't really seem to help.

I love this place. Been there over 10 times now with several friends who also love this place. Unlimited hot pot items, unlimited broth. The owners are so nice and friendly, and they'll do anything to make sure you're having a good time. Get Pork Bone Soup for the broth, eat as much beef/pork/chicken/noodles/vegetables as you want, then save the seafood until the end, as it could flavor the broth from it. Although, I personally like the seafood flavors. Finish it up with their great selection of ice cream (free with hot pot).My only complaint is that the Ice machine doesn't work half the time until you ask them to add more ice, but all the drinks are pre-chilled so you really don't need them. Acceptable selection of fountain drinks, although I don't drink anything else but water.MAKE SURE TO HAVE A COLD DRINK on stand by. If you burn your tongue from the hot food you'll be miserable for the rest of your stay, as your tongue will hurt to eat and it's hard to taste but you can't stop because the food is still so good. They'll give you plates and bowls so you can cool your food out of the broth before eating them. The meats are sliced thin so you really don't have to let it cool all that long.Vegetarian options: One of the broth you can choose is Miso soup. It's good, I might even call it great, but I still like the pork bone soup better. The hot pot items have a lot of different vegetables, including potatoes, corn on the cob, and mushrooms. They provide eggs for you to either hard/soft boil them, or you can even crack it open to poach it right in the broth (it's so good?). Also, I love their noodles. Even if you're vegetarian, you'll still have a great time.Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic and intolerant of dairy products. But thankfully, you can avoid any and all dairy and still be left with over 95% of the options. I'm also type 2 diabetic. Just skip the rice and noodles, and you'll have a good time. And don't take the free ice cream and soda (duh). If you're allergic to shellfish, don't get shellfish.Parking: Since this restaurant is on the busiest road of Provo, Utah, you'll be lucky if you can fine a "great" parking spot. But hey, it's free and a little bit of walking never hurt nobody. I've yet to not find a parking spot, even on Christmas Eve when it becomes really busy.Kid-friendliness: The pot of broth they give you can become really hot (hence the name: "hot pot") so watch your kids from burning themselves. Honestly, I just warn them once and if they still touch it, they'll learn to never touch it again (place their burnt hand in their cold drink, then take them to the bathroom to run their hand under cold water). If they still do afterwards, then I'm sorry to say but your kid's an idiot.Wheelchair accessibility: Just park towards the ends of the block and use the ramp to get on the sidewalk. No automatic doors, but the door can be held open. You should come eat with friends/family anyway. Hopefully one of your friends/family can still walk.

We have frequented this restaurant for fifteen years, and has proven a favorite since my kids were little. Even under new management, the food, service, and the atmosphere are all important to us.

I am shocked at any good reviews. First of all why are dixie paper bowls and plates with red solo cups on all the tables? Nothing like eating soup out of a paper bowl. Why is there raw chicken on the buffet?! (Yes, I understand you cook the chicken in the broth…I have been to a good amount of places like this and they keep the meat in the back and bring it out to you and they do not offer chicken raw ever.) The selection at the buffet is underwhelming. I ordered the chicken broth, boiling chicken in water and serving clear broth with chicken fat pieces and grease floating is NOT a broth you serve. It was so bad we paid for our soda, canceled our sushi, left without even eating.

Recently moved near here so I decided to try it out - just fantastic!! I had the steamed gyoza and the sesame dumplings, and both were phenomenal. Service was great too! I'll definitely be coming back regularly.
