Lakeside RV Campground offers a convenient and well-maintained site with a great location near the lake and town. Visitors appreciate the beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and the large dog park, which is a highlight for pet owners. The site is quiet, especially by evening, and close to bike rides and walking distance to the lake state park marina. However, the campground has some drawbacks. Sites are close together, which can feel crowded, and the WiFi is poor. Water, sewer, and 50 amp service are reliable, but cable TV is grainy. The campground is older but kept in good condition, with reasonably level sites. It can be noisy due to nearby airport activity, and the proximity of parked vehicles sometimes blocks views and makes leaving tricky. Strict rules are enforced, and the presence of long-term guests contributes to a quiet atmosphere after early evening. Some areas, like the back of the park, have sketchy campers and rundown sheds, and the gravel sites with shade can feel cramped. Overall, it is a decent place with good amenities but some space and noise concerns.

Paid full price and were sorely disappointed to arrive and find out pool was already closed for the season even though it is still hot out. Plenty of open spots, but we were put in one of the few with no shade. Nothing warns you it is beside the airport.

Sites are level, clean bathrooms and showers, friendly staff.

This is a well maintained quaint RV park. I like the trees. There's a bike path nearby for easy access into town. The staff has been incredibly accommodating and helpful.
