I absolutely love this place. My friend Anja, who is a barista there, recommended I come to do some homework. Anja is also very helpful with food and drink recommendations. Now peace on earth is my go to study spot, and I will continue to go.

The espresso at peace is consistently burned, it seems like most times I go in they’re out of something, oat milk, cold brew, certain syrups, etc, most of the baristas seem annoyed or impatient and eager to return to their side conversation, which wouldn’t be a problem if they hadn’t forgotten a detail of my coffee.the atmosphere is always great, which is what kills me about the consistently poor quality coffee.Overall, I always regret going to peace instead of somewhere else.

My favorite cafe in the valley hands down. Lots of creative drinks and great place to study, catch up with friends, or just grab a drink on the go. The Hot Honey Toast particularly is delicious. My only complaint is that there’s almost never a table available since it’s always packed!

I have been going to Peace on Earth since it opened like 6 years ago. At first, I absolutely adored it - it was a haven in Provo with great drinks, decent food (the food has never been amazing), nice baristas, and cool people. However, its decline since has been gradual and, most recently, steep. Here is everything that has gotten worse.1. Prices have crazy increased. You will pay $8-9 for a latte if you want an alternative milk. I get that inflation affects it and people should be paid a livable wage but my two new favorites (JJ in Orem, La Barba in Draper) have increased to about $5-6. Still high, but acceptable and understandable.2. They are constantly out of things. One day last week, they were out of oat milk, almond milk, breve, AND coconut ?!3. The coffee itself isn't as good anymore and almost all the syrups are store-bought. They used to have really cool, innovative drinks that they would switch up regularly and make syrups homemade. It feels like no one cares anymore. The food, edible at one point, has now descended to almost inedible. Store-bought as well (some of the muffins they sell are straight up from Costco), never fresh, and way too overpriced.4. The store smells. If you are in there for an hour, you will walk out with your clothes smelling. I have friends who will refuse to go there because they don't want to ruin their clothes.5. The baristas that used to work there were all so kind and had been around for a long time. They knew your name and what you ordered and would strike up a conversation. Now, half of them have Airpods in their ears when you're ordering, look depressed, and try to take your order as quickly as possible with as little talking as possible. I'm all for efficiency, but it comes across as dismissive and rather rude.As a local business and one of the few coffee shops in Provo, I want peace on earth to succeed. But it is now a stark, empty shell of what it used to be. RIP.

Karaoke here is awesome. Outdoors in the summer on the patio and indoors in the winter or when there is bad weather.

The female employee with curly/wavy short hair had terrible customer service. I tried asking questions about which coffee is the most popular since I’ve never been, and she responded with an annoyed tone and made me feel stupid. She was rude the entire time I was ordering. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was fun, but that employee made me not want to return from such bad customer service.
