9 months ago we hired Joe after a friend recommended instead of going with our builders cabinet company for a complete new build. 3 months into it Pearson was holding up the project and when asked, he said he was a one man show and would not commit to a deadline suggesting I go with someone else. I got another bid that came in $5,000 less that agreed a two week turn around but Hubs wanted to say with Pearson. Bases were dropped of leaving my hubs to install until Pearson arranged someone to come out. Minor damage happened during installed and paint touch up is still needed and not done after repeated requests. Uppers got installed weeks later and most were missing inner shelves. Pearson never once came and measured expecting hubs to do that so the cabinets weren't measured around the electrical. Doors and shelves were dropped off for us to install. Slivered edge on upper so they framed it in but not the other sides so they don't match. After Pearson failed to respond to getting the job done I had to turn this over to the conflict resolution team for our construction loan. Pearson was also paid half which covered supplies but he came to hubs asking for him to pay for all the supplies at his supplier before he do more so he mismanaged the banks funds. He also didn't supply a receipt for that immediately because he doesn't like to claim things on paper. Pearson then reneged on the original bid that included soft close hinges, glass in upper cabinets and he up charged claiming increase in Lumber Cost. The back up company on stand by examined his work and he didn't do toe kicks and lumber costs have not gone up, in fact have gone down. I had to install the glass and Pearson caused unnecessary stress to this experience. Go with a reputable company that is honest standing by their work. I still have touch up and trim that is not installed and missing shelves, while he demands being paid. Maybe smaller jobs is best for this business.Service: Custom cabinet design & installation

Materials were dropped off and left for us to install. I still need paint touch up. We had to install the shelving and the doors. The initial bid also included crown molding which was never provided. he doesn't build toe kicks.

I have a small bathroom. Our home was built in 1935. I had in my mind what I wanted. Joe delivered exactly what I wanted and needed. He spent time with me making suggestions and really listened to my concerns. Spent a lot of time taking measurements checking several times to be sure my needs were met. I am short so that was taken into consideration. The cabinets have high grade paint and the workmanship is superb. Friendly, honest and high quality service. . He has a gift with wood. I've purchased a lot of hardwood from these guys over the years. They are patient and have great quality. I have seen them accommodate special needs several times. If they cary what you need, don't go anywhere else.
