We returned our uhaul there and the people were so rude. My husband asked about the gas since it was over half a tank but not fully 3/4 and they said they would at most charge us $9. Nope, we got slapped with a $90 charge for fuel. We called and tried to talk to them about the mixup and they were so rude and basically said screw you. They are liars who don’t keep their word.

The staff were super helpful and understanding when I needed to schedule a truck rental last minute because I had accidentally reserved one for 3 AM instead of 3 PM

They will find creative and unique ways to charge you more money than you should pay. Got a call from them saying I have to put more gas in per their requirement, which is fine. Drove back then across the street to put gas in the truck at the maverick, then got back 5 minutes later to be told i could no longer return the truck without returning it “after hours”. The worker wouldn’t take the keys and told me to put it in the return box and scan the QR code for late returns. Not mad about the $30. However, the waste of time and the joke of telling me to put another gallon of gas in then tell me i get the late fee was lame.

I called several times and they wouldn’t pick up their phone. I had an emergency to rent an auto transport. Neither they nor the central helpline would answer the phone. I made a reservation and got down there and told me that my wouldn’t work. There are plenty of people available there to answer the phones, but they chose not to. Wasted hours.

Worst service I’ve ever seen. I just waited 45 minutes for them to come out and fill up propane tank they never ever even came out. I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all. Cost terrible service absolutely terrible. I was being generous, giving them one star I wonder how they’re even still in business to be honest with you

Ordered something in. They couldn’t find it. The gentleman working there was complaining about every customer and swearing constantly. Wasted 40 minutes of my time hoping they would find my order. Super disappointing.

Unlike a lot of other poor reviews, my experience with the people working there was very positive. Yeah, for some reason the business processes take a very long time to get through to just rent something, though that isn't something that they can help.
The problem came when they will fine you an additional $20 if you don't install their app and use it to check in your equipment if you deliver it after hours. I spent 20 min, unsuccessfully, in their parking lot trying to get the app to work. It errored out almost every time I started it up, and I never got an option to return it.
I've probably called the local location and the central line 50 times in the past two days and never actually had someone answer the phone. I'll spend $20 in fuel to get back to that location, they do not answer the phone, so that's money they just took from me.
I'll report them to the BBB if they don't answer their phone today. I'll do my very best to avoid Uhaul in the future.

Heed the reviews. Avoid at all costs.
Scheduling online doesn't work, waited two weeks for parts for a hitch for them to "install on another car by accident" with no apology after dropping it off and leaving it with them all day. Reschedule after reschedule and rude employee after rude employee. Very poor experience.

Had them install a hitch on my Subaru so I could pull an Aliner Ranger 12. Called 3x before installment to make sure it was a 7 pin and that I would be able to pull my trailer with it. They installed the wrong wiring. When I asked them about it, they said they don't do 7 pin wiring (but had confirmed on the phone that was what I was getting). Lisa also said I probably don't need reverse lights or to use the brakes on my trailer, not the safest recommendation. I also tried to return my 2 inch ball hitch that has never been used because I needed a raised one. They do not accept hitch returns unless it's still on the car. So now I have a 2inch ball hitch that I don't need and the wrong wiring. Definitely just trying to make a quick buck. We love capitalism. Wish they would've sent me elsewhere when they couldn't do the installment I asked for.
UPDATE: Uhaul in SLC is going to refund me for the hitch AND do the wiring labor for the 7 pin for free. The manager at the Provo location was 100% trying to pull a fast one. GO UP TO SLC FOR HITCH INSTALLATIONS!

Don't trust the new manager and always do your reservations online! She pulled a fast one and charged me $1.09/mile for a Cargo Van.

I have now been here more than 5 times. They are SO FREAKING SLOW. Every time I come I have to plan MINIMUM 30 minutes in the building. It is absolutely ridiculous. They either need more staff or need to close this location down. The workers have no sense of urgency. I've even been here a full hour before. Absolutely ridiculous.
